The Hogfather

Being pulled from presenting Match Of The Day after criticising the government on social media.

I wonder if they’ll feel the same way about Fiona Bruce defending Stanley Johnson battering his wife on Question Time.

he is a massive hypocrite, was a critic of the qatar world cup but still decided to take a reporterd £1.6M to work for the qatar sports broadcaster. he could have said no to going but it seems his bank balance is more important than bacing up his views

If the Conservatives were confident in what they are doing, they and their friends at the BBC would surely not be that bothered about someone's opinions.

Just the fact that he's saying things pretty close to the truth is the issue.

When anyone is employed they have to adhere to the code of conduct expected by their employers in work and out with it too .

What a ****kin’ joke this country is.

Will this happen to every public figure who holds a mirror up to the cruelty and incompetence of the Tories.

Cancel culture is bad, unless of course it's cancelling anybody not on the right wing, in which case it's Good British Common Sense

That's where I'm at with him, file under "money grabbing tosser".

Hopefully Chris Packhams imminent court case sees him binned off to.

Yet folk like Bruce, Sugar, Clarkson etc can get away with anything they like as long as they’re not slagging the Fascist Tories.

I suppose this proves that Lineker was correct.

Whats that old saying about seeing who is in control by seeing who you cant criticise.

You can't go comparing government policy to 1930's Germany FFS

Millions died in the Holocaust and there are still people alive who were around in 1930's Germany.

The prick jumped in with two feet

I seem to remember a radio 1 DJ, and BBC TV host was allowed to promote the Tories at the drop of a hat.

He used to fix things for people.

Lineker is spot on. The government’s tactics are straight out of the facists’s playbook from the early 1930s — dehumanising people, shutting down protest, rampant corruption, etc, etc.

If you want to know who runs the BBC, just watch Question Time. Boris even put a Tory donor as BBC Chair

yes, here is the text from the tweet

"immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s"

He did but he didn't reference the Holocaust. He just made a reasonable comparison between what the German Government did in the 1930s.
