Have you seen the amount of fatty bloaters cutting about these days? A wee spot of famine might actually be good for folk.

I'm already smug with them :smuggy:

You managed to get hold of a lettuce? No need to gloat.

Oh I don't know then, what else can I get in Asda?

Bacon, leprosy and turnip, final offer

Yummy. Don’t forget the dressing.

Good to see the government that believes in "the market" having talks today with supermarket chiefs to find out why " the market" isn't delivering.

Should be quite a day after the roasting they got from that hotbed of union activism, the NFU.

There were no tomatoes or cucumbers in my local Tesco now at the weekend.

There was also no 0.0 flour, that annoyed me a lot more.

Fortunately I just bought and ate something else.

Most people I've seen on the few occasions I've stumbled into an Asda store wouldn't know a vegetable if it were sellotaped to their 24-pack of Wotsits.

😂😂 your on fire today 😂

Was shopping in Edinburgh today and whilst there was the odd empty tray here and there it was nothing like the mass empty tray's/shelves which we are seeing in the news.

Sainsbury's (Straiton) had the odd empty tray but seemed to have plenty fruit & veg.

Lidl (Straiton) as Sainsbury's.

Asda (Straiton) was the worst of the 3, it did have quite a few empty trays, however again nothing like some of the scenes being witnessed in other places.

Once again it seems to vary between stores and locations, with some worse and some better than others.
