She has to either turn up or unfortunately a body needs recovered.

 

If it’s the latter then any evidence the police may have on him can be used.

 

I don’t think it’s him for the record.

Do the Police put as any resources into other missing person cases?

 

They are shooting themselves in the foot here by saying how many people are dedicated to this.  There will be folk with missing family going daft listening to this conference.

I've gone the other way and now consider third party involvement to be far more likely than other options.

They have stated previously that one exit point was not covered by CCTV, on the path which leads from the fields back to Garstang Lane.

What they said is that they have control of her phone and social media and will be doing some work on her social media accounts today which may make it look as if she has been online, so folk noticing that shouldn't report it.

The going in the river theory is nonsense. It's been 19 days. They have been looking in the river since 15 minutes since she allegedly fell in. 

 

I'm leaning towards her making off on her own now, unless the police are withholding significant evidence, which is something they always do.

Whatever they are, they must be significant enough for the family to inform the police about them when they reported her missing, but more importantly for the police to immediately declare Nicola as high risk.

My theory,

 

Hes been having an affair. Explains his awkwardness in front of the camera. Explains the Police’s statement about her being a person for concern. Explains why they firmly believe there is no 3rd party involved and their belief she has not left the scene. No cctv showing her or any person of interest leaving.

 

It’s all got to much for her and in a moment of madness she’s put the phone down mid team call and jumped in the river. It’s tidal at that stretch making finding a body considerably more difficult.

Unless the family share the details with the media, all we can do is guess. When the Police announced that, I immediately thought that perhaps she is epileptic, which might explain her falling into the river and not being able to get out? Like I say though, all we are doing is guessing. Still praying that she is found safe and well, especially as she has young children.
 

Still hard to explain why she hasn’t been found in the river yet though.
