The Queen is under medical supervision at Balmoral after doctors became concerned for her health, Buckingham Palace has said.

Speaker Lindsay Hoyle interrupted a House of Commons debate on the energy crisis to wish the monarch well.

He told MPs: "I know I speak on behalf of the entire House when I say that we send our best wishes to Her Majesty the Queen and that she and the royal family are in our thoughts and prayers at this moment."

At the end of the day, she's a wee auld woman. Why any ***** would wish her Ill, is beyond me. A mum, a grandma, a great grandma etc... Yes, the Royals should not be thing, but that's a different matter .

Exactly, no matter what people think of the Queen, she is somebody's mother, grandmother & great grandmother.

Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall have travelled to Balmoral

The Duke of Cambridge is also travelling to Balmoral, Kensington Palace said.

He is joined by his father Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, according to Clarence House

The Queen dying in the middle of a political shit storm about the cost of living, should be the beginning of the end of the Monarchy.

A morbid observation she may well pass in Scotland.

There's nothing morbid about that observation.

It would simply mean Operation Unicorn would swing into action.

Correct if she does die in Scotland her body will be kept at Holyrood Palace before heading to London by train

She was up and about to meet the new PM.  But the princes travelling up is a terrible sign.

This, thinking perhaps she's suffered a stroke or something. Up and about to meet truss but claiming she's comfortable seems strange.

Family travelling to see her very worrying.

It's what she'd want. It's home after all.

This.

While she probably aware that her time is almost up, she'll be hoping that she's well enough to tune in to watch the Hearts this evening.

Ultimately, she had the gig thrust on her at a very young age and has been devoted to it. Basically sacrificed her entire adult life to national service

May be a personal protocol of sorts.  Any kind of turn for the worse and she pre-determined that she wanted the family there,  in case of..

Not at all, and possible a situation she has decided for herself.

I'm not a royalist by any stretch. But all the info coming out...doesn't look good.

Operation London Bridge looks on the cards.

Or the Ajax game was just too much.

Good point.  It is supposed to be a retreat up here for her.

You had a feeling that a woman approaching 100 might not have long to go? Very impressive!

I wonder what'll happen next, I've long wanted Lugsy as king so more people start seeing through the whole charade.

The plan has always been for her to die in Scotland if at all possible.

Should she do that then she will lie in state at St Giles and then take a slow 24 hour long train ride down to London.

With the cost of living crisis I do hope they scale back the funeral costs and Charlie's promotional gig .

Her mum was Scottish, was she not. Hame.

Glamis Castle was one of the Queen-mum's family homes (her dad was Earl of Strathmore), but she was born in Hitchin.

Thats quite a call that a 95 year old woman would be far behind her 99 yo husband.

Is it a medical background you have?

That's my opinion too. Actually :most' of them seem like decent individuals but as a collective the idea shouldn't be a thing in 2022.

Best wishes to her.

I commented to my wife about her hands in that photo of her meeting Truss. I said it was not a good sign having seen that before on my dying parents and parents in law.

It's actually quite confronting given that she's always been there as this iconic figure since I can remember (I'm from Northern Ireland after all). Now this may be it 40 odd years later and my kids don't know anything different either.

King Tampax I will not last long.

Going on my medical background :whistling: it looked like she may have had a drip in the back of her hand
