Police no doubt responded and genuine fans will suffer as a result of the actions of their own idiot fans of which there are many. No doubt it will be the fault of the Police though. Have you not seen the clips of Scousers climbing the walls, fighting with stewards ? Police asked fans not to force entry ? This was an hour ago. Michael owen said the security checks are heavy and time consuming. So giving fans the benefit of the doubt (ie they all do have tickets) it looks like some turned up a tad late.
