he will take the huff the moment he signs. Completely toxic in a dressing room. Imagine him playing in Dingwall or Paisley in a midweek game in January 🤣🤣🤣

No chance happening but if by magic it did I think every ground in Scotland he plays at would be sold out each week.

He would score about 60 goals up here 🤣

No chance of it happening though.

They said the same about Miller and Boyd in the Championship….

Ronaldo to Rangers loan in principle isn't that crazy but he's on about £600k a week,

They'd need to pay a fee of  at least £10m and  whatever small % of wages to get close to covering half.

If they stretched to that,  it could be the best deal Utd get as who is going to take Ronaldo of their hands and match his wages?

Ramsey fee was around £2.5m and he was on £400k a week but that was for half a season.

Rangers can offer ucl over Utd as well with bonuses based on that.

I'm gonna file under unlikely but not completely shite.

If no Top 3/4 team in a top league is going to have him,  it could be his and Utd's best offer.

Talksports transfer correspondent basically laughed at the question and said he "couldn't see Ronaldo lower himself to go to Rangers"

Ugandan striker Sadat Anaku has joined Dundee United on a two-year deal.

It's seemingly all came from Rangers fans on twitter mocking Utd for not being in the CL and also Ronaldos agent saying he needs to be in the CL so Rangers fans saying he should join them

The Internet is wonderful.

Anything can become a truth,  even if for a short while.

Looks like a couple of loan moves for Scottish internationals.

Billy Gilmour looks like he will go to Brighton on loan (think that will be a better fit for him than Norwich. Brighton are good at developing young talent.)

Jack Hendry is set to move to Serie A side Cremonese on loan. Would mean 4 Scots playing in Serie A.

Spurs make Cristian Romero’s loan deal permanent with a contract until 2027. These try before you buy loan deals seem to be getting more common with the big clubs. Pay a lump to get a player on loan with the option to buy at the end of it. A very different way to do loan deals as it tends to be good players from clubs instead of ones the clubs want rid off like the usual loans.

Reported that McKirdy's in Edinburgh for his Hibs medical. The record says they're also planning to loan Dynel Simeu from Southampton and Ethan Galbraith from Man U.

In Scottish player news, Harrison Ashby of West Ham United is wanted by Newcastle as back up to Trippier. He has a year left on his contact and West Ham rate him highly.

Hamilton are after Joe Shaughnessy from St Mirren.

Both Dundee clubs linked with Charlton keeper Craig MacGillivray.

Pasquale for King

Love the Italian style of being holed up in the Hotel Gallia near the central train station in Milan doing deals in the days leading up to the window closing.

McKirdy to become this forums most hated player.

Guaranteed.

Plus, he’s rank. Been lucky to have a good team round him at Swindon.

He’s a horrible cocky little rat. Will fit right in with their culture.

The plot is thickening over a proposed £10million swoop from OGC Nice for Rangers star Glen Kamara.

Scottish Express Sport reported on August 21 that there was firm interest at that price by the French side who have already spent £50million this transfer window and have also snapped up Kamara's former Ibrox team-mate Aaron Ramsey who was released from his contract at Juventus.

Now we can reveal that an online profile page for the Finnish international has been started on the official OGC Nice website. It has a September 1, 2022 date on it so it seems to us that this deal could be going through which would represent another massive piece of business by Rangers, but would clearly weaken the midfield options - unless they have something else in store.

Rangers only paid £50,000 to Dundee in January 2019 when Steven Gerrard and his team recognised his potential and he has been a top performer for Rangers. Kamara has three years left on his contract and Rangers don't want to lose him but if Nice come in with £10million it will difficult to resist.

Some profit if that goes through.

Yet another reason why Scottish clubs should play hard ball with the Ugly Sisters when they come calling.

tbf they’d signed him on a pre contract and offered that to push it through. Still remarkably low amount but a similar tactic to how they dealt with Jason Holt with us.

Problem is, he would not be worth £10,000,000 if he was still at Dundee, and Nice certainly wouldn't offer that kind of money to them had he not gone to one of the Uglies.

Players in Scotland are (generally) worth **** all, and then a quick stint in a manky green or blue shirt adds a couple of zeroes to their value.

Chelsea have accepted a bid from Brighton to sell Billy Gilmour to Brighton in a permanent deal. The 21-year-old was made to wait over his transfer deadline day proposed move after concerns about injuries in the Blues’ midfield, but the club have ultimately opted to sanction his exit from west London. The Scotland international was dropped from Chelsea's first-team squad over the summer and spent pre-season working with the Under-21s.

Hibs are supposed to be in for Billy The Fish from Man Utd.

Another CB to be floundering about with Bushiri & Hanlon at the back.
