So let's so who they have signed for cash Melkerson already looks like a shit investment his former teammate also been punted out on loan to Dundalk also looks poor.Tavares ( depends on what Hibs fan you speak to but some have him at costing £400k ) already looks like he is out on his arse with the arrival of Boyle and with them trying to bring in Johnson from Celtic. The Aussie right back looks absolute shite as well and already lost his place to Cadden.Must be others I missed

Suppose early days but looking bleak for them sadly, happily.

missed this, who did they sign?

Hibs are set to land a former Rangers trialist in a £200,000 deal, according to a report.

LASK Linz striker Adam Griger is set to arrive in Edinburgh to finalise a transfer to the Easter Road side after terms agreed with the Austrian side. He will be able to fly over as soon as the paperwork has been completed.

The 18-year-old had a trial spell at the Light Blues three years ago and has also attracted interest from around Europe. But The Hibees are confident they've landed their man, according to the Scottish Sun.

I'd like him here. He'll end up at Hibs or Aberdeen, if fit he'll be a good player.

No, he will end up in championship or someone like Fleetwood. Overrated pish who, if he wasn't at Celtic, wouldn't be on anyone's radar.

The record more interested in talking about rangers and Kevin Thomson than anything about the player itself

Barcelona sell 25% of their media wing to the same company that stiffed French Ligue 1 out of €3.25 billion.

What could go wrong?

For all the players they've signed this transfer window (Raphinha £52mil, Kounde £45mil and Lewandowski £40mil) they've not actually registered any of them yet, as their wages break the financial rules of the league.

So the club have been desperately trying to raise funds so they can expand their wage structure and register these players.

Speaking of Barca and wages, they owe De Jong €17million wages and he's refusing to be sold until they pay up but Barca are also refusing to let him go and are demanding that he settles for only €6million of the late wages.

What a complete shambles.

Barca registered all their new players today, less than 24 hours before kick off of the new season.

Barca are €1.3billion in debt.
Before this week, the financial rules of La Liga meant that their wage budget was set at -€144 million (yes they had to cut €144million from their wage bill).
The club lost €400million last year.

But they've been allowed to spend a total of €182mil on Raphinha, Kounde and Lewandowski and also spent another €16mil re-signing Dembele after having previously released him on a free to save on wages.

:wtf:

Pretty obvious Robbie and Joe were caught sleeping missing out on the spoon burners Bojangles and Tavares.

Johnson said he had been watching them both and aware of them both for a long time

Boy we missed out big time.

Lee " lying through his teeth " Johnson.

He knew **** all about any of them.He also said Melkerson was brilliant far better than he had ever imagined 🤣. The guy obviously gets it written down on a board what he has to say to the press.

He said if he could design the perfect striker it would be Melkerson lol.

Just a yes man, a chancer waiting for his four year payoff.

Fair dos for still having the hunger to play on.  Part time miles from the Weege.

A bit surprised Allan has ended up at Arbroath - Id have thought if he was willing to sign for the wages they can pay then someone in the prem would have taken him as a low cost gamble.

Only 30, I'd have absolutely no issue with having him on the bench.

He's not actually that bad a keeper. Not first team quality. But would make a very able deputy.

Good luck to Scott.

Diabetes is a horrible disease and he has taken it on.

Danny McGrain and Andy Penman were other good football players who had type 1.

Is there a young Livingston forward showing lots of promise playing with it and beating it just now too?

Maybe better than Stewart to be honest...

Yup. I'd have taken him for cover TBH. Stewart if called upon will cost us points. Hamilton a bad keeper too, but significantly better than Stewart

Not all shite was created equal :D

Some shite is better than other, Hamilton would be a better improvement on Stewart. The reality is quality goalkeepers aren't lining up to sit on the bench in the SPFL. So we're never going to find a 2nd choice that is going to get anyone excited.

Casemiro to Man U confirmed. Good signing but seems overpriced for a 30 year old

Real Madrid part with players for a reason. See Varane, Ramos, Bale, Jovic and even Ronaldo to an extent.

This one could be the transfer fee alone though.

It’s a great deal for Madrid. Much younger players come in on less wages and transfer fee not much more

Nuno Tavares for Marseille looking very fast and talented versus Nantes just now.    Marseille down to ten men and coping well, with the help of Tavares and Payet.    Tavares from Arsenal.

Reported Hibs target Harry McKirdy’s future is in doubt after smashing a protein shake over the referees suit in his dressing room after being sent off…?

Surely that sort of behaviour seals a move to Hibs?  Perhaps they'll be wary that it wasn't a bottle of eldorado or a beaker of his own man mixings, but Lee's app will see potential he can harness in the move - be under his "fluid attacks" tab
