Mikey1874
7 minutes ago, Tommy Brown said: What's happened? 👍 Ronnie had a tricky long pot into the far corner. The other match was on its break. Suddenly people started coming back in down the stairs right in O'Sullivan's eye line. And they kept coming. They shut the door. Then more people came in. The referee told them to close the door but they ignored her. Ronnie sat down but was agitated and was rude to the referee. He did get back and potted some good balls though lost the frame. Victorian
Well done if you picked those semi-finals. It's an interesting group. All of them are reprising past achievements. Bingham won it and has recently been at a low ebb. Wilson has been in the final before and has another chance now. Gilbert was an unexpected semi-finalist, should have won his match, dropped down the rankings and probably would never have done it again. Jones' only big achievement really is last year's quarter final in this. He's about 40 in the rankings and comes back to exceed last year. The easiest watch by far is Bingham. The rest can be a bit dull. Best final for breaks probably Bingham vs Wilson.

I P Knightley
I just watched Jak Jones putting Bingham in a great snooker with the cue ball tucked behind the pink in the green corner and the only red down near the black spot. Bingham obliged by tapping the cue ball into the black ball, so 7 points to Jones, but he still needed one more snooker before clearing up to win the frame. Why, then, did Jones not ask for the white ball to be put back and give Bingham another chance to eff it up? What's the rules on that? (He'd had a similar opportunity a couple of shots before when Bingham had missed everything. I didn't understand why he didn't get Bingham to play again, but then he went and laid that 7 point snooker. )
