JamboInSouthsea
Phew, game finishes 5-7. Missed the first goal but caught most of what was one of best games I've seen so far this season, loads of goals and a fair few scraps too. Both of Pietrangelo's goals were crackers. Quality stuff!! Gershwin
Kane scores for Blackhawks and the 41000+ crowd goes nuts. 41,000? Must be one of the biggest hockey arenas in the world

JamboInSouthsea
41,000? Must be one of the biggest hockey arenas in the world Sure that's what an announcer said during the game but could be wrong as just had a look and it seems capacity is at just over 20,000. Anybody know what the largest capacity arena is in NHL??

Konrad von Carstein
To take the thread a wee bit off topic: John Scott seems to be getting mixed reviews as an "enforcer/fighter" he annailated Westgarth of LA the other night then seemed to toil against Cam Jansenn of ST Loius. The officianados of Hockey Fights seem to be salivating over the thought of him fighting Boogaard of the Wild or the leaf's Colton Orr. So the question for all you guys with the inside knowledge (or living in the States/Canada where these things are reported on) is, how would it go for him with an established fighter? Apologies in advance if this is thought of as tasteless...
Chester™
Hard to tell. He'll struggle with Boogy IMO. Both big guys but Boogy uses it better, which is why Scott struggled last night for me, as well as Janssen never giving up. Ive never rated 'T-Rex' Orr that much TBH. He gives a lot but has a tendency to get clocked (see fight with Engelland earlier this season). I'd like to see him against Godard maybe. That would give me a better assessment then. The main problem with those mentioned, is they are all Eastern Conference players. Edited December 1, 2010 by Chester?

I think "we" play the Wild in late December so we might see a match up then...

Gershwin
Two goals in 2 minutes make it 3-1 MTL. Darche on PP and a fairly lucky one for Hamrlik (his 150th goal and 601st point in the league)

However good Scott is, he'd be Estes by Probert or Domi in their time!!

Still, a point aint too bad. Ice hockey is a faster paced game than fitba and fortunes seem to change very quickly...nowt's in the bag til the bloke blows the foghorn!!! St Louis almost made it back last night despite being 5-1 down....11 goals in 2nd and 3rd periods. Habs were poor though in that period it must be said and to lose at home is not good. Right!!! On with the next game as I appear to totally awake....apart from short trudge in the snow to 24 hr shop required fairly soon.
