Hopefully they come at us but I can’t see it. The league is already over for them in terms of winning it so they’ll be happy with a point.

We’ll have too much for them. Hopefully JG isn’t the covid case and at least makes the bench.

I think they might come at us. They are not great at the back. The best thing they can do, from their point of view, is to keep us busy in our own half. If they try and play for a point they will lose imo.

Hope you’re right. If that’s the case then players like Naismith and Lee will have 5/10 yards of space. Make it a good game to watch.

Three points is the priority on Saturday in one of our toughest games.

Massive step to securing this league early on imo.

Agree.

Could be quite a few goals in this game.

Two teams going for it from the first whistle.

Cue a 0 - 0 borefest. 😏

Can you put up the Dundee side that would beat them so we can compare?

Huge game for Robbie and the boys this.

We blew our last big away game so time to prove we are the daddy's of this league.

Would be great to win but consistency against the lower teams is more important imo and allows the odd points dropped in ‘bigger’ matches.

So you think we will win every match between now and the end of the season?

No, but do you think Rangers and Celtic would go to Dundee with that sort of mindset?

'oh it would be great to win, but losing points is ok, as long as we beat arbroath'

I doubt the players have that mindset and it’s not what I said.

I doubt they have it either, and that's what got us relegated.

We should be going to dundee to absolutely steam roller them.

What got us relegated was our performances against the ‘lesser’ teams...and a vote.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what we do to them on Saturday.

So you don't think Dundee are a lesser team?

Ahh feck it, no point arguing with you. Hopefully we can snatch a late goal for a draw.

I’m not arguing with anyone. I’m hoping for a comfortable win.

I’m a Hearts fan I’m not interested in picking Dundee teams. I know that we would struggle to win with that 11.

Some things that struck me about Dundee in the first game were that they were utter shite, slower than us abd not very fit. The quality of the opposition is relevant.

We have not steam rollered any team away from home this season and have actually lost twice!!!
It will be a difficult game and I hope the players realise that and are bang on form from the first minute with a quick tempo we can win. If not we could easily lose this game.

Kidd’s Boots

I hope that they want revenge for the medicine they had to take in the opening game of the season and come at us,  but I think that they will sit in and try to get Sow turning our back line on the break. Might be some changes if Berra and Boyce don't make it. Hopefully Walker gets the day off, another poor showing from him last night with only a petulant booking to show for his efforts. Kingsley back would be a boost and allow Halliday to get involved a bit further up the park.

You don't have to remind ME mate.

We've now got a new manager and the away games are still exactly the same, PISH.

Even the home advantage is pish now, there's nae fans!

Will have to keep an eye on Sow.

Sounds like he is getting his fitness back and on his day could cause us a lot of trouble.

Good thing is they probably won't sit in and defend for their lives.

If Sow comes through the season and stays fit is he worth a contract next season when we go up?

No. 17 goals since 2016. Long spells out injured.

Remember him for the good times.

We’ll need better next season

Pity Sow appears to found a pair of scoring boots. Perhaps he'll lose them today or tomorrow.

There is a few of ours that need to find something? You know who you are ? Those things dangling between your legs are not missed Christmas presents..... find them and everything will come together = rout 1-5

Dundee have found a bit of form, OS in particular, and we tend to perform poorly away from home.

All points to a difficult night and I wouldn't burst into tears if we took a point.

2-2.

If we have belief and determination there’s no reason why we can’t beat them.
I’m not expecting a St.Mirren (a) performance of the last game last season.

This squad has more heart

0-2 Hearts

Correct.  I'll be delighted with that but ecstatic if we record a big win.  That of course applies to everyone on here except a sad few who will be in mourning tonight.

Winnings a great habit to have, whether  it wasn't great all the time in the last few matches,   I'd rather have points in the bag and conceded  a few goals ,  than played shit and dropped points,   more goals to come, wrl get there , probably be a couple of results wel all moan about " but we're a work in progress   people will come and a lot will go, it's barely half way yet ,   let's all look forward,   with reasonable hopes for the near future ...
