Are you insinuating that we’ve played well this half?

I'm saying we are 3 goals up, thought that was obvious.

Geoff Kilpatrick

This game has felt like a training match throughout. Thankfully, we've done what we need to do to wrap up the points.

Keeper was miles off his line for the 2nd one... Is it not a retake because it was off target?

Shouldn’t matter. The keeper coming off his line early could put the taker off enough to fluff his shot. But it would be a brave ref who ordered a third go.

NO!

Keeper never influenced it.

Boyce needs to be rested.  I realise there's more to his game than scoring goals, but he's missed a series of sitters and then fails twice to convert a penalty!

It's as simple as that.

No he doesnt but he is also making some good runs.

Feel it is a mixture of lacking match fitness, making the runs but not receiving the ball and just snapping at chances. All hit his confidence.

To be absolutely fair to Boyce he has done a lot more than Naismith. Made a goal and won the penalty. Wighton must come in for one of them.

Boyce just doesn’t look happy at the moment.

He keeps crossing himself as if he'll receive intervention.

Yeah I did in 1972, but we still won and I got a double.

Forrester v St Augustines. Loved beating our next door neighbours.

Was it it holy cross back then?

Pretty much the same as the last time we played Alloa in the Championship. Job done and move on.

are you happy with this standard of football?

The standard of football is enough to win 8 out of 9 game....so I'll take that thank you.

I don't think Boyce twill ever score another goal until whatever is going on in his head gets sorted.

Instinctive only possibility because if he gets time to think about it, he's woeful.

You’ve played haven’t you? Sure you said you had. That would def influence you as its in your eyeline. Not the point though. Hibs pen was confident , neither of those was

He has, but maybe for his own confidence give him a week or two to get his head together, he has missed a lot of good chances.

Sounds like they are getting put under more pressure too.   Might end up 3-1

How is that Grant not on a yellow. Has it in for Naisy.

No surprise there then.

Getting the strong impression that we really haven’t been great, but we’re winning because Alloa are worse.

Alloa have done nothing this half. We haven't got out of second gear.

Thank feck we are playing Alloa!

Mis-placed passes all over the park and some shambolic play - and as for our main striker! 🙈

You’d genuinely think we’re 3-0 down reading this thread.

Seriously, what is wrong with you people?

We couldn’t win a fecking game last season, couldn’t beat an egg, and we’re on for our 9th W from 10 games 😂

I'm in no way comparing the two but I remember Morelos being like that earlier in his Rangers career. If he had time to think, he fluffed it.

Alloa are worse, don't think that was ever up for debate.

All roads lead to Gorgie

Boyce has the caught the curse of the once prolific striker pulling on the maroon shirt. I firmly believe he will hit form but if the fans were there he would be under more verbal pressure so he is still in a good place to change things, hopefully he does soon.

Failing to score in the 2nd half will be a disappointment but .net should be a good read later on if things stay as they are at the Giro.
