Makes me sick.

Not just overseas though. Think some on here get more excited when Liverpool win than when Hearts do.

It doesn't have make me laugh when Liverpool fans go on about Man Utd and cockney reds and the like. I've probably met more non Liverpudlian Liverpool fans than anything other club.

neville is mad ☺.  "conte wouldn't be a fit for man united but if he gets signed tommorrow I'll get behind him".

I mean just get Keane on so we can get a real honest reply to a question.

Add Arsenal into the mix. Bit like the 50 year olds from the central belt who support Aberdeen, there are a lot of guys about 40 year old now who found supporting Arsenal very easy when Wenger was in his early days.

I think it's a generational thing.

Oldest Liverpool because of the Paisley years.

Slightly younger Man Utd because of the Fergie years.

A bit younger still Arsenal because of the Wenger years.

Slightly younger Chelsea because of the money years,

and then most recent Man City.

And then Arseholes like me that chose Spurs.

I fully expect loads of people commenting on this that don't fit my simplified, rather basic demographic.

The plastic Scousers in Northern Ireland will be unbearable for the next week.

Never seen so many Liverpool shirts being worn, and this includes in bloody Liverpool.

Apart from more loyal types, who favour the Man Utd jersey due to a certain George Best.

They got an absolute pasting 🤣

Correct !

I would be just as happy if it was the other way round.

It's nice to see at least one set of glory hunting EPL fanboys greetin their eyes out. They've probably jumped ship to Chelsea or City already.

They don't know what disappointment is 😁

Liverpool fan on who sounds like he's from the East Midlands

I've had 4 mates on Facebook posting about it and giving it big licks, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Edinburgh, and Gloucester. Of the 4 only 50% of them have been to Anfield, or indeed Liverpool the city.

Not having a go at Liverpool as such but Man Utd are far from the only club with fans all over the UK.

No time for them either.

Watched the final of the CL a couple of years back in a pub in Edinburgh

at least I think it was Edinburgh the amount of over exaggerated joy from folk calling themselves 'Liverpool fans' references to 'we and us' when talking about Liverpool.

Total ****ing glory hunters the lot of them. 😒

The answer is simple. Liverpool were fantastic today.

It’s the difference between a team and a collection of good players. And it’s even worse when the collection of good players isn’t being led properly.

I'll bet that every pub in the UK and Ireland showing that match today had plastics for at least one of the clubs but probably both

The BBC football feed on Facebook is particularly hilarious. Enraged Africans everywhere who all seem to follow very few clubs. Not a lot of Burnley or Stoke fans in the dark continent it appears.

Like it or not there are what we would call 'super clubs' who have a world wide following whether it be through history or the power of TV.

The pathetic little attacks on those people with all this plastic nonsense is a bit rich from people who claim to have no interest then post all over a thread about the EPL

I support Hearts, I am a shareholder, I am a season ticket holder and an FOH contributor.

I also (through family connections decades ago) take an interest in Liverpool, I try to attend Anfield a couple of times per season and have seen them win the European Cup 'live' in the past and of course love to see them win never mind win with style as they did today.

All clubs go through cycles and at some point Manchester United will 'recover'....they are just too big not to to do so but until then lets see them go through a couple of decades of  non success just as clubs such as Liverpool will have fallow periods in the future.

I don't have to apologise for loving one club and caring about another and nor do any other fans who have an interest in football and perhaps a stronger interest in a club plastic or otherwise

Hearts didn't lose yesterday. Wait a second, are we meant to actually care what happened between Everton & Watford? FFS, mid table game between 2 teams no-one cares about.

What connections do you have to The Rangers as a reason for sticking up for them ?

You're so plastic that Greta Thunberg wants you banned.

Only joking, everyone has their reasons for 'following' certain clubs. But you have to admit that the 'we' and 'us' patter from say a Malaysian lad who plays as Liverpool on a video game and bought a knock off replica shirt is a bit cringe.

Like it or not the EPL is now a global franchise.

Changed days from the half and half hats from the 80's.

Never said he wasn't a Hearts fan.

Why do we have to prefer one or other of the ugly sisters ?

They are both repugnant.

The reason why Man U and Liverpool both have many fans all over the country is quite simply because they have both had sustained periods of great success over the last 50 years. But they also both have plenty of fans in Greater Manchester and Merseyside respectively. It's really quite similar to the Old Firm in Scotland.

Why get all upset who they support

Taylor Moore got quite a few upset on here for no reason at all.

I don’t believe for a second even the plastic (red) scousers really care about the Everton result. The sooner all these billionaire foreigners pull the plug from their toy train set the better.

I genuinely think Fergie would. Strikes me as the sort of guy that keeps an eye on absolutely everything in football.
