Malinga the Swinga

Being honest, who gives a **** about West Ham. Nothing club, nothing fans and they play in a stadium paid for by taxpayer and handed over for nothing to bunch of governments, at the time, friends.

Hopefully they'll never won anything and just flounder about in mediocrity.

A pointless club in a pointless league.

Spurs attendance today was 56,000 a lot better than last month where they were in the 40,000 range.

Is it COVID related or another reason. They are on a bad run but I cannot see it being that.Is there a boycott going on.

Man Utd another club  with season ticket holders not turning up.

I've always had a soft spot for Newcastle and their long suffering suppoters.  That neing said, on the one hand I'm pleased with their recent run of good results.  On the other hand, the billionaire classes in football ownersip depress me.

Newcastle are joining an elite group of clubs in England who buy success on a massive scale.

Interesting that Mo Salah has said this too about staying at Liverpool in the midst of contract talks. Who actually decides where someone plays.

Agent(s), or should I say syndicate. Lots of people with a slice of the pie when it comes to the highest paid players nowadays.

I thought Brighton were harshly done by at Old Trafford last night. A Yellow card yes, but not a Red, he never denied the United player a clear goal scoring opportunity. There was a touch of the Fergie's about the way the United players surrounded the referee.

Think in Salah's case he is wanting what he is worth.

Sometimes a player has the right to go for a huge wage rise.

Seeing an player getting £500,000 a week at another club must have made him revalue his worth.

Nice goal. Dawson careful to keep his hands out of the way.

Newcastle defence giving hope to Watford and Norwich.

What a game. Spurs possibly blowing the title race open.

Not sure about that, city 6 points clear and will still win the league by 10+ points

Possibly. Liverpool do have a game in hand though.

And one more game against each other. Could get interesting.

If Liverpool win their game against Leeds (every possibility) and have a game against city, that could bring the top 2 on level points! Could still be interesting yet!

It's not fair really.  Apparently Man C have £5 billion more than Liverpool who only have £200 billion.

Call me cynical if you like but the compeition is a joke.

I'd take Raith v Dunfermline any day of the week.  The people's game.

Its a fair point about wealth distribution, however, outside of us, I measure football by how much I enjoyed the game, not by how rich they are. I don't enjoy that many games any more but I really enjoyed the Man City Spurs game 🙂

McTominay really is a bit of a thug. Collision with the Leeds player who is instantly bleeding heavily from the head and he hasn’t gone anywhere near the lad to see if he’s ok.

Leeds player looks to be concussed.

They need to do the rugby system where doctor tells them to go off.

Only leaving field 15 minutes after incident.

Ref allowing for conditions. Quite lenient.

Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville are alright.

But it must annoy opposition supporters commentating their games. Jamie Carragher was wetting his pants at Tottenham's second goal yesterday.
