About 3 really good games in his managerial career up to now.

Everton will need more.

Man Utd closer to the right combination perhaps ironically. Events can help you sometimes.

And despite 121 set pieces without a goal and missing penalties

Blatant handball, but because he missed the goal and his chip became a cross, VAR opts out! LOL

The English have made a pig's ear of VAR.

Big time.

VAR works fine around Europe.
Not in England !

Yep.

Here they've made a pigs ear of understanding the laws.

Instead of thinking of the effect on the goal just judge the handball. Which was a clear, definitive handball.

That’s a penalty if a defender does the exact same thing. Dumb.

The Boro goal tonight was another incredible VAR decision. The rule on accidental handballs is ridiculous but regardless of that, the handball should be classed as deliberate as there was a clear movement of the player's arm towards the ball.

Great result for Boro though and some fantastic penalties there.

Here is the thing when VAR gets implemented in the top league in Scotland, the way we use it will make the English use seem totally professional.

If the VAR officials/ref can't see that as a handball, can you imagine the tech myopia in Scotland when the Bigot Brothers are involved.

AI is the only answer.

The law was tweaked last summer. Turns out it was the correct decision to allow the goal. This from Clattenburg.

"Middlesbrough’s goal was allowed to stand because of a change to the handball law last summer.

Duncan Watmore handled the ball before finding Matt Crooks, who scored.

But the tweaked law says a goal will only be disallowed if the scorer handles the ball — not the player in possession before him.

Referee Anthony Taylor could have blown if he believed there had been a deliberate handball by the Boro man. He didn’t think it was deliberate because a miscontrol by Watmore meant the ball flicked up to hit his arm, and I agree with that verdict. It was accidental, so it was right that the goal stood."

Looks like we have gone full circle and back to whether the handball was deliberate or accidental.

This still led to a goal in the same passage of play. If a player can't control the ball why should the opponents be punished in this way ?

West Ham behind to Kidderminster and Chelsea losing at home to Plymouth. Great stuff.

Kidderminster well in this game.

Only had it on for 5-10 minutes but West Ham barely look out of first gear which is worrying if you support them.

Those Chelsea ****s have just levelled.

West Ham doing the exact opposite at Kidderminster to what we did at Auchinleck and are currently paying for it.

All roads lead to Gorgie

Huge test for Moyse now. I think his luck is starting to run out. Apart from his long spell at Everton where a top ten finish was accepted I don't think his management is as good as many in the media say.

Werner is a shitebag - clear favourite to win the ball through on goal but slowed up as he seen a defender coming across to make the tackle
