Surely not, there’s no easy games in the best league in the world?!

Arsenal are playing football most teams could only  dream off

Give me Hearts everyday off the week though

As explosive as Arsenal are, you have to wonder what Sheffield United are actually trying to do.

All they are trying to do now is hurt arsenal players.

This is hilariously bad. Arsenal on for 10-0, easily, if they want it.

Saka roasting that full back at every opportunity

Double figures if Arsenal go for it

Rather make 5 subs at half time give the fringes a good run out.

If Arsenal don't bottle it and get at least 10 for the record score it's a good boost for them.

They have to go for it, EPL is very tight and it could easily go down to goal difference.

Most one sided game I’ve ever seen. Buckie game Celtic a better game

Sheffield United are lucky that it's only 5.

Scary thing is that Sheff Utd were a very decent side in the Championship last season. The gulf between the EPL and the Championship is enormous.

They sold 3 of their best players and didn't replace them.

I don't think sacking Heckingbottom was sensible either.

Did they spend much in an attempt to at least be competitive?

the posh bit

The difference between the top 3 and the rest is pretty messy.

That must be so dispiriting as a Sheffield United player. Not a look in despite Arsenal playing walking football in the second half.

In theory they have some hope with points deductions still possible.

But they don't.

Interesting tactical insight from Thierry Henry at the end of MNF last night. Referenced the way Inter Milan currently play and the way their midfield 3 can all play as a 6.

Also mentioned the almost universal obsession across football of 1 up front might be starting to change. Again with Inter being referenced.

Aston Villa reporting losses of over £100m for last year. Whilst they're within the rules, it's a fine line that they and others are treading with the threat of points deductions hanging over them.

No wonder Sheffield United didn't go big on staying in premiership when cost of failing could result in whole club going bust.

No doubt others will fall foul of rules eventually.

Villa have gone OTT in the hopes they can qualify for the Champs League. If they do, it's business as usual. If they don't, they sell Watkins, Diaby or Bailey to balance the books.

He was exceptional wasn't he. What a player and he looks like he could be kn route to being an excellent coach. His knowledge of the game is tremendous.

Really fascinating insight. A real breath of fresh air from the utter banal shite we have inflicted ordinarily.

Him and Carragher are good together. You’ve probably seen clips of it but they do the CBS champions league coverage for the states, and the coverage is much more relaxed, they have a laugh and a joke at each others expense.

There was glimpses of that last night.

They are good value as a duo.

On his point about the way the Inter Milan midfield operate, I can see us trying to implement something broadly similar (albeit not the same quality of personnel!). Nieuwenhof is going to be absolutely central to the way the midfield in constructed. Playing the way they do means you put serious miles on the clock for the guy deployed in the Thuram role.

If you've got 3 players who can all play as a 6 then you become a formidable side to try and break down. I know we had a numerical advantage on Sunday but there have been occasions in the past when we've failed to capitalise. Our midfield had more energy than Celtic on Sunday and we at times overawed them in that area. That's definitely something that has only emerged under Naismith.

Just on the Hoff. We'll get several million for him in 12-18 months imo. The progression in his game is immense. Was sceptical initially but what way he's kicked on. Recruitment guys deserve great credit for spotting him.

Well that's not going to help Ramsdale make his claim for a start every week, is it?

Although officials also allowed neck pull on Trossard and shirt pull on Gabriel to go unpunished in second half. He pretty much lost control after about 50 minutes and players just carried on niggly battles.

Keeps league interesting though with three teams in title race.

Nae worse than the Harry Cochrane challenge on him at ER, that Cochrane got a yellow for.
