Been coming. West ham were starting to fall apart before the second penalty.

That 2nd penalty 🤦 I don't think it's decided the game though.

Taking Antonio off for an unfit defensive midfielder and deciding to defend for 20+ minutes was all the change that was needed.

That's a good result for Newcastle in their fight with Chelsea for 10th place.

The Newcastle player doesn't touch the ball and essentially trips the West Ham player who is in control of the ball and about to clear it. If anything, it's a non-event or if a foul it's a free kick to West Ham.

Not a pen 😂😂😂 he connects with the ball it bounces in the other half of the pitch. Just kicking folk is okay now

100%
We were clinical on the break and takes off a focal point of that counter for a sandbag

2nd is never a pen but not bringing Ings on till we were 4-3 says all you need to no about Moyes

This Vargas, Forrest, Grant and Shankland forward line is combining brilliantly.

He literally put his foot between the ball and numnuts as he was pulling the trigger. He didn't even try to win the ball. Just put his leg there so he could be kicked. That's never a penalty.

It could be argued it was a foul on Phillips the way he went in there.

4th place Chelsea (on data according to Pochettino though actually they are mostly 12th or lower).

Neither of Geordie Arabia's penalties should have been given.

Not entirely sure what VAR are looking at.

You couldn't make it up. I was watching that game thinking I could maybe handle Moyes staying and then he made that sub 🤦. I knew right away it was going to go wrong as we've seen him do it before. It sucks the life out of the midfield and puts the defence under unnecessary pressure. Then when we need to look for an answer to an equaliser there's nowhere to turn as the shape he's put them into doesn't function in that way. Or in any way. That's before we've even considered he left them without a centre forward on the pitch 🤬

Great news for the rest of the top sides. Utd are absolute dog shit and whilst they keep on getting lucky results Ten Haag remains in charge!

Edit: get it up them.

Brentford v Man Utd was some game.

Brentford had chance after chance after chance. A complication of all their chances is worth watching. There won't be enough time on Match of the Day to show them all. 31 shots.

Scored in 99th minute only after United scored. Over for Man Utd trying to get Champions League place. Over for some others at United too you would think. One of the worst performances you could imagine from them.

Ten Hag must be on shaky ground. Has he really improved Man United in any concrete way?

They were outplayed but at least got a point I guess but they didn't deserve any more than that.

It's a massive rebuild job for someone as they need a huge influx of talent.

They were brutal and that would have been absolute robbery if they’d won that.

Anyone else starting to get a bit worried that Everton might sack Dyche and look at Naisy? Would be a very very shrewd move by them as our manager has far greater potential to get Everton back up the table than ginger big Sam. Record equalling 12 games without a win for them

Even worse was that he brought on Phillips to - I imagine - protect the defence and then suddenly Isaak is picking the ball up in that exact area as he pleases.

Everton will be looking at some top end managers rather than an inexperienced coach who still hasn’t even proved himself at our level.

Not a chance they look at Naisy atm.

Far too big a jump, especially for a basketcase like Everton. They need to stay in the Premiership for a good few years to pay for their shiny new stadium, so they can't afford to be experimenting.

Nope,  getting a Hearts team to 3rd place won't grab that much attention.

McInnes taking killie from 11th to 4th will likely be more noteworthy to neutrals than taking a Hearts team from 4th to 3rd.

If we finish 3rd 2/3 seasons in a row and build our points total he might get noticed.

Too often you see a challenge like that, both players going for the ball, and it ends up with the player that was fractionally second to the ball getting booked.

Ridiculous

When a West Ham player broke away and was skinning Newcastle's players, he was totally wiped out and the referee did not give it as a foul. If the Newcastle defender was the last man (he might have been) it should have been a red too. It was not even a foul. What an outrageous decision.

There is no such rule as last man though. Never saw the tackle( game ) whether it was a card or not I can't say just pointing out the rules.

Or the player that rolls about getting the decision.

The rolling about needs clamped down on.
