Like it or not they are a big club in terms of Scotland.

Big club but certainly not a giant.  I don’t care either way, just pointing out that they were never a giant - insignificant even in Dundee until the 1970s.  And pretty insignificant again in Scottish terms since the 90s.

What constitutes a big club though - size of crowds or number of trophies won?

Edinburgh City team has changed a bit. Quite a few outgoings too. Craig Thomson to Cowdenbeath, Mark Laird to Stirling Albion, two stalwarts.

I think we always confuse size and success.  Fans base there isn’t much in it between its and those teams.

Never dreamt new rangers would get 3 consolation goals against dunfy.

I'm starting to wonder if they are consolation goals.  4 now.

An upset could be on the cards.

If you go by football supporters it's a third each St Mirren, Rangers, Celtic.

When Partick beat them 3-0 in Dunfermline last week that must have set the alarm bells ringing.

Next month because it was cancelled in July. Big marches.

As much as I dislike the huns, It’s always pleasing to to see a team he’s involved with get spanked ( until my fire stick went on the blink)  His pre match chat on premier was cringeworthy

Yeah, big orange walks never go through predominantly Catholic areas...

Peter Grant is a prick. Always has been. Always will be. Prick of a player. Prick of a manager. Prick. I pity Dunfermline.

This is the greatest ever description of a human being. In a hundred years someone who has never heard of Grant will understand exactly what type of person he was.

Aberdeen have won 18 trophies.

The Super Cup thing doesn't count.

A decent achievement by them back in the day but it isn't a major trophy.

Nor is any domestic "Super Cup" or England's Charity/Community Shield.

Strange appointment. Feels like he is getting these jobs from his coaching CV. Gets Alloa relegated but walks into a better job. Doesn’t seem a likeable manager for players to relate to

Areas in the west with a big Celtic support (but not necessarily in the majority) are the likes of Greenock, Port Glasgow, Coatbridge, Clydebank, Royston, Carfin, Dumbarton.

An Ayr, Motherwell and Livi treble would be good today. The most dangerous and least likeable teams all gone.

Some cracking LC scores on the cards with D Utd (it's fantastic how everything is going wrong for them - karma) and St Mirren. Just need 'Well to get their act together.

Watching Ayr v Utd - United got a penalty and whoever was working the camera was showing us the opposite end of the pitch when the penalty was taken.  (It was scored btw) Amateur hour at Ayr.

Baird of Ayr sent off too - game now turning.
