def leppard and motley crue at glasgow green last night, excellent. both bands were great and those who say vince neil's voice is going are wrong he hit the notes as you would expect. Mamoth WVH as a support act were decent as well

even the heavy rain didnt dampen the performances

it was a good show in what was awful weather conditions.

Was Vince actually singing or was it a tape as social media videos of other gigs allege?

Looking at Connect Festival, just to see Young Fathers mainly, but reckon will take the chance of getting a ticket the week of the gig allowing me to check the weather first. Getting older and can't be arsed getting soaked plus plenty of time to catch them if needed.

I'm seeing Alison Goldfrapp at the Playhouse on the Friday of Connect.  A lot of my mates going to see Primal Scream and Franz Ferdinand at Connect.

Think the Saturday at Connect will be full of pill-popping bams.  Best avoided.

Do as many bands still play the playhouse?

there were points where he missed words from being a little out of breath and unless it was a recording of another concert it was live

The international festival normally put a couple in there as part of the festival.

Pretty much this.  There may be others outside August but not many.

Good stuff.  I tried to watch coverage of TRANSMT on TV but fell asleep.

I don't think they showed Pulp and the rest of the lineup is horrendous.

Saw him once in a tent at T in the Park.  He was doing solo stuff outside Housemartins and Beautiful South.  Wasn't my thing.

I never saw coverage of him.  It was monotonous bedwetter music like George Ezra and Niall Horan they showed.  I'll watch Netflix tonight rather than subject myself to any more of that shite.

Were The View embarrassing themselves like they did down south?  I can't think of a shiter band that Scotland has produced.  Music for Neds by Neds.

Saw their racist fans throwing bottles at the singer of Skunk Anansie at T in the Park.  Complete and utter scum.

Diadora Van Basten

Going to see Jexit in Glasgow, I watched a few of their videos on Facebook during lockdown.

They are a Japanese The Jam tribute act and if the videos are anything to go by it should be pretty good.

Tonight's entertainment comes in the form of all female American garage-psych band The Darts (nothing to do with the British  70s/80s doo-wop revival band Darts) at The Voodoo rooms.

Anyone else going to see the Levellers at the O2 on Friday? Going with wife and daughter, meeting another poster who may sound a bit like a religious leader from Tibet in Jessie Maes half 4ish if anyone else wants to join the party.

The first time I saw the Levellers they were busking in Brighton! One of the best live bands I seen, they supported New Model Army on a couple of tours and A Weapon Called the Word is still one of my favourite albums. I hope you enjoy the gig.

I will Dawny, Levelling the Land Revisited tour, first and best album in my opinion. Messaged Mark to ask him to rip daughter to pieces for daring to sleep through a set in 2002, to be fair she was only 2 at the time. He's read message but not replied so she might get a nice surprise on Friday
