I've already explained that decision on a couple of occasions, perhaps even to you, and how it was the right decision in the end. However, keeping Edinburgh and some other areas in the same tier as Glasgow and others in the West for such a long period wasn't correct, imo, due to the differing levels of Covid in both areas, but that's a separate issue and involved the requirement to move those in the West up a tier well before they actually were. There were at least a couple of days of elevated stats coming from Edinburgh right before the decision, if I remember correctly. It didn't need a crystal ball, just good eyes. You really ought to overcome your bitterness on that decision, FtS, as it's clouding your judgement, imo. As I said, there are far more things that deserve getting angry about than that.
