Was it not a Sunday or is my conspiracy circuit just jogging nuts?

Hardly.....

We need a defensive midfielder to allow Smith to return to RB.

We already have a defensive midfielder on a four-year contract. Damour needs to work extremely hard and prove he was worth a contract that long. He's got plenty experience, just needs Stendel to sort him out.

Fingers crossed, but I really do feel Boyce has the making of a proper Hearts player🙏🏻

Goalscorer is the word your looking for, defo think he'll be great for us, a penalty box striker that we've missed so bad, if he turns out half as good as Robbo was, I'll be delighted.

Mission impossible, starts Sunday.

On Sunday 7 August 2016, Sinclair signed a four-year deal with Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.[78] He made his debut later that day, coming on as a substitute for Stuart Armstrongagainst Hearts, and scored the winner in the 81st minute, slotting in Leigh Griffiths' cross to put Celtic 2–1 ahead.

What we need to do is not make him appear shit like we did with other good strikers by playing to his strengths and not pump long balls upto him.

A creative midfielder is a must unless Naismith drops into that spot.

This new strategy of signing player's who aren't old as ****, cripples or goals virgins is most pleasing.

For sure.

Did you read Dikamona's interview?

Apparently Levein didn't want them taking risks and the game plan was to defend and aim to win by a goal!

It sounds ridiculous but completely plausible if you watched us over the last few years.

Our goal scoring record has been absolutely honking.

my memory is not the best but,

did Sinclair not sign for them Saturday morning and play against us on the same Saturday afternoon?

when no one was aware that the SFA offices were even operating on weekends.

Couldn’t argue mate as I’ve a mind like a sieve but I thought it was a Sunday game, start of the season

Yeah I saw that. Not surprising. Dinosaur Levein played utterly wretched and craven football for the most part.

Good shout.  Would be a shame on Irving mind you, but even bigger shame to drop Clare from RB when he’s made the position his own.

I can see Naismith playing deeper now Boyce is on route.

Yes, but with Stendel's high press I think lots of players will get plenty minutes, not just the 1st 11. Also think it's better for the young lads to start from bench then come on for 20-30 mins, allows them to learn and bed in and if they impress enough then they eventually get to start. Win win I'd say.

You don’t drop your most improved player.

Agree. Can't see Clare getting dropped. Might put Smith to CB alongside Soapy. Sibbick into Midfield.

The relative lack of an aimless punt up the park has been one of the best thing's about Stendel's arrival. Probably as much down to Berra's absence as well as a change in philosophy mind you. Souttar and Halkett both want to play football, a little too much sometimes. Irving has made a decent fist of being the creative midfielder so far, and Naismith's flicks and intelligence are crucial.

True. The Levein hoofball that saw us storm to the bottom of the league will not be missed.

It's a brave new world.

Aye but as you know there are different rules for different teams up here my good learned friend from the same HMFC stronghold village. A dot missed or a t not crossed. Anything or any technicality to help either of the sacred cheeks. Hopefully I’ll be back with The Chief after my wee scare in November to see LB score the winner for The Famous on Sunday

Yep, a creative midfielder but also a fast winger who isn't a shitebag and can create imo.

SFA registration is open till 12pm on a Saturday and shut Sunday. Biggest issue will be to get the English FA to put through the international clearance. The international clearance can be asked to be done in advance so fingers crossed that’s been done and all that’s needing done is conformation to SFA that a contract has been signed 🤞
