Fingers crossed everything is all signed and sealed enabling Boyce to feature at some point on Sunday. And if and when he does come on that we're in front so doesn't put any pressure on him to score in his first appearance for us.

For anyone with doubts both Stendel and Soutter openly discussing Liam Boyce in the media suggests that his signing is a formality. Always nice to get the scarf above the head moment though, no not the pies one.

Just an indictment of where we have got to as club probs. Ultimately ..his form seems good, consistent and we have committed cash so im happy.

However we can’t do much kore than buy a striker who has scored a load of goals up here and continued to score goals in England. It’s not like “one season wonder” Lafferty.

He had a good spell.towards the end of last season TBH. Thought he turned a corner but just went backwards this year
