Is there any word on the strength of his hamstrings?  Just asking.

It's his cruciate you need to worry about. Hadn't even played a league game for Burton and he knackered it.............it was a long time ago though.

Great signing on paper. My only trepidation is that the last 3 strikers we have battled Aberdeen to sign have been John Sutton, Stevie May and Connor Sammon 😂

In seriousness, it shows real backing to Stendel. Reckon we're a creative midfielder from comfortable safety.

Hearts have agreed personal terms with the Burton Albion striker Liam Boyce, who is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year contract at Tynecastle Park.

Talks progressed quickly after Burton accepted Hearts' transfer offer for the Northern Ireland internationalist and he could now face Rangers on Sunday if paperwork is completed on time.

Great news if true. Just read the comments from the Burton fans. How big do they think their club is? A pub team and much smaller than Hearts

Still have the lovely aroma of beer and marmite though. Mix that in with the big kebab factory near the station and it's perfect.

"He is due to travel north on Saturday to finalise the move and is hopeful of making his debut in maroon against Rangers."

Maybe no scarf/heid today then

Fabulous news if true .

Couldn't see it happening but he  obv was very keen to sign for us which is a massive positive.

Nah. Do you not mind the poster on a thread last week stating...

''We have no money for signings''

''Burton pay more than Hearts''

''He won't come to a club bottom of the league''

''It's very unlikely we will sign anyone soon, if at all'' (We've since signed up 3, albeit 2 on loan)

Same poster claimed all this. I'm not sure if he's posted on the thread yet so won't name him... But I'm having the last laugh here...

They aren't reflective of the majority of the support. Most know where they stand in the grand scheme of things. It wasn't that long ago they were playing Vauxhall Motors. They will be more pissed off about the fee tbh.

Oh, is it one on loan and one just on a 6 month deal? Think you're right there.

Donis isn't a loan signing, 6 month contract.

The Daily Record are claiming it is done, he's signed a 3.5yr deal and he's in the squad for Sunday v the Orcs.

Well if the newspaper is stating it as fact it must be true!

I have to say I had my doubts about this happening but I’m so happy to be wrong, again. Well done to everyone concerned.

Just across the road. You can get to the housing estate that is there now via the John Brayford crossing.

I wonder how many housing estates have been build on old football grounds.

Yeah, tries to hide It for his profession but was hit by a few coins outside Easter road a few years back, I think even they know. His bro is on that BBC Scotland show that reminds me of a few fan(nie)s sitting in the snug in the Diggers after a game.
