novoman
I know that Connor Smith has been getting quite a few motm awards and will be badly missed according to a cowdenecky season ticket holder, he says all the teams best stuff comes thru him and they will probably go back to hoofball now that he’s gone. he also rates Chris Hamilton, composed and solid in the tackle. Interestingly I work with a Cowdenbeath fan who also rates him highly but for some reason the club don’t seem to have been too impressed. Perhaps there was some specific elements of his game they hoped he would develop on that he hasn’t. Not sure.

Paying money for a below average championship level player and lavishing him a wage that he would not get anywhere else for having very limited ability. Now we’re stuck with him and he’ll not leave for less money. I said this when we signed him. Most bizarre signing.
MarkDevriesScores4
Also..... if we could get money for Sean Clare during this window, I think we should take it. I know he has had 2 decent games for us recently but I’m yet to see the player we were promised. Can’t see him being on a cheap wage. Maybe Stendel can get something out of him. The Treasurer
Think we are seeing the consequences of giving good contracts to (at best) average players like Mulraney and Wighton. No-one else will pay them anywhere like the wages that we dished out. Maybe this will act as a warning to other under-performing players at the club. If you don't make it at a club like Hearts, the only direction your career (and wage packet) will go is down
BigAlim
So far we’ve got the following players who have been told to find a club: Berra Mulraney Wighton Doyle plus Whelan and Keena have already left. convincing those players to take a lower wage somewhere else is going to be a hard task I reckon, hopefully Berra will just want to escape the embarrassment and Mulraney hasn’t put that American club off. I imagine MacLean, Zlamal, Dikamona, Bozanic and Garuccio will stay until their contracts end in summer, they’re not the best players but they do have decent attitudes and should hopefully only be needed in an emergency. Happy to see Stendel work with the rest of the squad as I think we do have some talent in the leftovers. I’m surprised that Damour hasn’t been asked to leave but I guess the gaffer thinks he can get a tune out of him. No idea which category Uche falls into either

I think if Dundee could afford £75k, hearts would let him go. Whether he would accept reducing his wage to a fraction of what he’s on now is an entirely different matter. The Treasurer
I think Hearts have said he's "free to find another club" meaning we wouldn't ask for a fee, so I think the problem is Wighton not being prepared to take a drop in wages. I suspect they want us to sugar the pill for him by giving him a pay-off so that he's no worse off receiving a lower wage from them. It might yet come to something similar if a loan deal is agreed. ceefax
We’ve got 12 players out of contract in the summer along with meshino and periera loans finishing. OOC in summer: Daniel Baur, Oliver Bozanic, Jamie Brandon, Rory Currie, Clevid Dikamona, Euan Henderson, Cammy Logan, Steven MacLean, Leeroy Makovora, Lewis Moore, Alex Petkov, Kevin Silva Can only maybe see a couple of the young players getting another contract from that list. So potentially upto 14 players away, to add to keena, whelan and maybe wighton mulraney Berra and Doyle. Will need to get afew players in the summer as well as now!!
