Overawed by the superstars again...Start playing once the match is lost. Depressingly predictable.

More like Belgium stopped playing at 3-0

True. We're rubbish. We don't even get as far as "having a go" now...

But its not Hearts is it - or Scotland for that matter! 😏

It will NEVER be Scotland that plays like that.

Are we really as bad as Scotland?

Think you need to factor in Scotland are playing the No1 rated international team....our last shambles was against Hamilton!

Yeah, Martinez probably feeling sorry for us so told the players to go easy in the second half.

Scotland lost 3-0 to Kazakhstan. The quality of opposition doesn't appear to affect the result does it? Lose either way.

Kazakhstan are drawing in Russia and go ahead of us on points.

Super !

They were already a point ahead of us Boab.  Cyprus have now also gone ahead of us.

The good news is we're still 6 points ahead of San Marino in the battle for the wooden spoon!

Robertson isn't putting a shift in for us. Should be better, it's a problem that has hurt for many years. Players being much better for their club

The defending at the 4th sums up the whole night. The players look like they dont give a ****. How the hell some of them are in that team is incredible. We are utter pish. Half empty stadium tells you the fans are giving up too.

I can't work out who Steve Clarke is.

He didn't do much in English football as manager, but changed Scottish football with Killie.

So far, his Scotland team have failed, so what is happening?

On the basis that Scotland have had one decent qualification campaign in 20 years, I don't think the problem is the manager.

To early to say but I think Steve Clarke largely played percentage footbsll with Killie.

It worked.

Not sure at international level if that will work.

God could manage Scotland and fail.

We just do not have world class players to compete at this level - end of!

Belgium not even really bothering about the 2nd half. We used to moan about glorious failure at Hampden against the top teams like Spain and Germany. Would kill for 2-1 defeat against these sides now.

None of the Hazard brothers playing, or Witsel.

Indeed. Best team in the world; not that far off the best squad in the world either. Scary.

The Jocks are murder.

Will be interesting to see whether the Belgies can keep up their current high standards for a few more generations.

Robertson gave 100% tonight. He plays better with better players at Liverpool - that’s football.

Still not sure why Steve Clarke took the Scotland job. It really is the definition of a poison chalice. Who was the last Manager to come out the Scotland job with any credit left in the bank? McLeish first time round?

Ripping the p1sh....

  True though.

The competition finished after the third.

Belgium have been in second gear since then.

Shan team, empty stadium, shite stadium in general. Little wonder why people mock our game.

Imagine queuing in the middle of the road in a housing estate to get out of the ground for an hour (might be less with just 10 fans there) then a train into central , a midnight hike to Queen Street and another hour and whatever through to Edinburgh.

Then you can start the journey home.

You'd be lucky to get home tomorrow.

Shite stadium is in a suburb on the far side of a shite town that doesn't even have the major stations connected.

Walter Smith and McLeish

How to do the job right. But both got a bit of a golden era player wise

Because he wanted it, badly. If anyone ever turns this stricken oil tanker around, they'll be a national hero. Immortal. Which is a much greater prize than trying to keep some random club up in the EPL.

It doesn’t really matter who takes the Scotland job. Every manager picks the same players every game, players who can’t get into the England team all of a sudden are Scottish, god knows what Charlie mulgrew, Stephen o donnell, (who is Liam Cooper?)

john mcginn falls on his ass every chance, Ryan Christie runs into players and don’t get me started on Matt Phillips and oli McBurnie.

Surely we can play youngsters who will look to play without fear; yes probably get pumped but least they will try and play rather than embarrass us every game.

Belgium are one of the best sides on the planet.

We got spanked and it was expected.

Clarkey kens his onions, he’ll turn us around but he needs time and should get it.
