Footballfirst
Donald Trump is reacting to the judge's ruling with a flurry of posts on his Truth Social platform. "This 'decision' is a Complete and Total SHAM. There were No Victims, No Damages, No Complaints," he writes. "ELECTION INTERFERENCE. WITCH HUNT." He rails against Justice Engoron as "partisan, deluded, biased" and "Crooked". He also slams prosecutor Letitia James, the New York attorney general, as "totally Corrupt" and "Racist". "I helped New York City during its worst of times, and now, while it is overrun with Violent Biden Migrant Crime, the Radicals are doing all they can to kick me out..." Trump predicts the decision will be reversed on appeal. I call BINGO

JFK-1
So Trump has 2 weeks to come up with $355 million, or sell off assets to cover it, or a bondsman willing to guarantee it which would cost Trump even more millions. Providing anyone took the chance with someone who has a long history of not paying debts. Someone the judge in the case said this about. Quote "Their complete lack of contrition and remorse borders on pathological," Judge Engoron wrote in an at times scathing 92-page decision. Later he said: "The frauds found here leap off the page and shock the conscience." Still, Mr Trump's empire was spared from one of the worst potential outcomes - the cancellation of its business licenses, known as the corporate death penalty. I'm thinking Trump was spared the cancellation of business licenses because if they did that then anything he has might massively decrease in value, while the court might want to sell it if/when he can't pay up. Babysitters put in to run the company, he can't as much as write a check for a tip without asking the babysitters for permission, the humiliation as well as the financial hit will be killing him. Who in the world would want to guarantee a sum like that for Trump of all people, known non payer, convicted fraudster and heading to be convicted jailbird. ‘Borders on pathological’: Michael Cohen reacts to judge trashing Trump in $355 million bomb

JFK-1
I have a hunch this latest development will push Trump closer to breakdown. It's pretty much destroyed his entire façade or brand whatever you want, the way he defines himself. Greatest businessman in the history of the world, except for maybe Henry Ford, but only maybe. Plus the extravagant boasts about the multi billions he is worth. According to Cohen in the video above Trumps assets in the whole of New York state would at best get him around $120 million, well short of the approaching half a billion total when you throw in the E. Jean Carroll decision. He's exposed as having never been any great businessman, his entire manufactured persona gone. While at the same time Trump is in a real financial bind he can't waffle his way out of and he's mentally weak. He's just been revealed and judged to be not fit to run a company, and this is what the GOP would offer as a candidate for president? He can't run a company but he can run the country? He would be better at that? And if that's not enough he could very well be in a criminal trial in little more than a couple of months. With all that shit in his tiny never faced accountability for anything brain I think he could visibly struggle to sit in a court for hours 5 days a week. But even before that I think we're going to see him become if anything even more unhinged. Edited February 17 by JFK-

How incredibly ignorant is that, they wish say a Hitler or a Mussolini on the nation and the world? To make their job more 'dramatic'? It's a bit like a crime reporter saying it's too quiet around here, wish we could get an interesting mass murder or two, maybe a serial rapist, to make my day more interesting. After posting this I looked up his wiki page and right away I saw the first photograph I had ever seen of him and which I recognised as uncle John. That photo is from 1900 when he was 47 and looks comfortably older to me. Scrolling further down I saw a photo of him at 22 at the end of the civil war in which he fought for the Union. And this version was a ringer for my uncle Andy when I was growing up, another of my mothers brothers. To elaborate on that my mother had 7 brothers ranging in age from her age right down to my age, I had an uncle just a year older than me and he had brothers who were married with families of their own. So uncle Andy was a fair bit younger than uncle John and it's incredible to me that I can see them both in McKinley. Such resemblances must carry on down centuries. JFK-1
I have set this video to begin as she goes into a section describing Trumps ties with Russia going back to the 1970's during the Soviet era. A quote from it. "To understand how to exploit the American idiot the Soviets studied his personality. A former KGB Major said it was a charm offensive, the feeling was that he was extremely vulnerable intellectually, psychologically, and he was prone to flattery. And flatter they did" I could have wrote that description of Trump myself, i'm sure many of you could have too. Trump the American idiot isn't difficult to read and manipulate, anybody can see that. Or should I say, everybody knows it. Putin most definitely knows it.

Watt-Zeefuik
The Xitter account "NY Times Pitchbot" has been a great parody account for years now, making fake versions of the kinds of stupid stories the NY Times publishes, often in the name of "balance" or some other shit.
