We might even be 20k by the end of today. Plenty of folk, including myself, who thought there was loads of time to get tickets will be getting them today.

Great effort. Hopefully we can sell out.

Same thoughts but just bought 2.

That breakfast is a good deal, if I was Edinburgh based would have done it myself.

Did the Wee Cup become big at some point?

Bought tickets for this for £24 with no match ticket included as we already had them.

They must’ve changed the price.

So 13, 000 ST holders and IF each one bought 2 tickets =26,000 tickets sold , leaving say  about 4,000 for public sale then???

?

Not every season ticket holder will be buying two, though.

Me and my two season ticket holding nephews will be at the game, but we haven’t actually used our season tickets for getting ours.

I thought they were advertised in the morning at £24 (without a ticket) and I was going to book but then when looked late afternoon it was £49 including ticket I thought I had imagined the lower price! Thanks for confirming!

I arrive in in Edinburgh at 09:30am - is the £24 still on offer??

Just booked 2 for the breakfast thing in the Gorgie Suite at £49 each.  The guy told me that if anyone is thinking about it then get in quick as its getting near to sold out.

Tickets will be in lower west stand but nearer to the corner flag than the halfway line.

Is all sections open?Any seat? recommendations for what's left?

Very few left in the east stand which are the closest to the pitch. Upper west would probably be pretty good though

Sympathies with dot counters. My laptop is not taking kindly to the Murrayfield map. I reckon by tomorrow we will be through the 20k mark

Anyone roughly any idea of how many we are at? Hopefully over 15k already

It’s hard to say with half the lower south and the entire upper south not released yet

The Beattie semi final had a total attendance of 36609 (londonhearts)

Anyone know how many were Hearts supporters?

12k

Celtic seem to be taking around 25k to these games, but of course we have no barometer for a semi in Edinburgh.  The scandal of it

Would be great to outsell them - another nail in the 'Hampden's best' argument coffin

Just bought two tickers  through e-ticketing , one for the lad and me.

Does not give the "print at home" option though. ?

Never does for away games or any game not at Tynecastle.

Disgraceful ☺

Oddly, it is the fact that Celtic WILL sell all their tickets — ie more than they’d have sold for Hampden - that might deliver the final nail in Hampden’s coffin.

I think that’s why the SPFL/SFA didn’t want this ‘experiment’ in the first place;  what if even supporters of the Glasgow clubs prefer Murrayfield to Hampden?

Indeed

A bigger crowd than Hampden's capacity of 52,083 (or 51,866 depending on source) would be a great start

Sorry but I don't see where the nail in the coffin will be as they have already agreed their deal to buy Hampden have they not? or have I missed something?

The nail is my nail -see above wavydavy's and referred to the argument that Hampden is the best place for these games rather than ending its use, which as you state has already sadly been agreed.

Thanks, understand now. That's where the numbers on the posts used to come in handy.

Dot count at 5pm.

West Stand - currently selling W5-W17 (lower) and  W10-W22 (upper)

Allocation currently on sale: 7380

Seats remaining:  210

Seats sold - West Stand: 7170

Hearts End (South Stand) - currently selling S1-S13 (lower) and S2 (upper)

Allocation currently on sale: 5154

Seats remaining:  360

Seats sold - South Stand: 4794

East Stand - currently selling E11-E17 (lower) and E14-E22 (upper)

Allocation currently on sale: 4643

Seats remaining:  214

Seats sold - East Stand: 4429

Total seats currently made available for sale: 17,177

Total seats remaining: 784

Total seats sold:  16,393

As Rudolph has just mentioned, 200+ seats have been released in East lower, so actual sales since 9pm last night are over 2,000. A wee caveat now though - we have no idea if the club have other blocks of seats within sections on sale that, for some unknown reason, have been held back.

That is bizarre about Block E13 (my block) as there will be people who may have liked to sit there who are now in corner seats or up in the gods.

Just hope they aren’t double selling

Supporters clubs perhaps?

Could be a few holding back for central section South. Excellent sales next spike next Thursday. Tend to agree the week is too long for season tickets.

Guessing another 1k to add to the total in hospitality
