Jeez, give it a break. Why so pedantic. No, but a cook etc would hardly be a "warrior" - your words not mine. You described yourself by definition as a warrior. Perhaps not overly 'out there' to have imagined you in the combats and machine gun.

All they do is demand second votes when they don't get their way. Throw unfounded slanderous accusations at anyone who has a differing opinion. Want a company closed down if there is something you dislike about them. Want someone sacked if they see the world differently to you. Protest against anything everyday all day if it is something the right are doing, even if it is something they had never once given the slightest shite about previously. Silence any speech or thought they dislike and want charges brought about as it is 'hate speech'. Spend all our hard earned money as they think money comes from money fairies. Believe everything they hear on mainstream media and follow all hashtags from the left they see. Demand free shit everywhere. Want open borders and cry racist to anyone that dare question it. Believe any woman or someone of colour about any accusation and have a trial on social media and want convictions brought about without the right for any defense. Believe they are morally superior for their views and cry Nazi to anyone who sees it differently. They want people who they do not know, who strive and work harder to pay for the 5 kids you had but can't afford.

But yeah, they want a fair society.

On 5 Live this morning they were discussing affairs , and the difference between men and women.

Nicky Campbell was talking about some research

- And attractive woman approaches men in  a bar and asks them to go with them immediately for sex in the toilet

75 % said yes

- an attractive man approaches men in a bar and asks them to go with them immediately for sex in the toilet

more than half phoned the police

Is it impossible now for the media to appreciate that men and women are different?

Perhaps if it was not being thrown around all the time that men are rapey bassas then the, erm, more fragile out there could better cope with what was an awkward compliment?

Then the incel movement would not have such a low view of women?

There are dangerous folk out there- both men and women, and I would certainly class this lady as being potentially dangerous, though I cannot speak for the guy

Whilst I would disagree on the DM ever being good,

the news has ceased to be that,

it is now merely the ramblings of malcontents, click bait and "look at me " posturings of the inadequate.

"Journalists" searching the internet for such banal slaverings as this girl can put out, and attempting to make it into "news"  or "stimulate debate".

In reality "man passes note to woman on train telling her she is attractive" is NOT FECKIN NEWS, nor is her reaction, nor is the " I felt threatened too hun xx :( " facebook BS, or the male counter reaction it has garnered.

Daily Mail's leading story today is "Seann Walsh girlfriend dumps him".  I had to google Seann Walsh btw.

Next 3 stories of hard hitting right in the heart of current affairs stories are

Christine Bleakley and Frank Lampard

Chris and Dakota baby rumours

Kourtney Kardashian

Horrendous, just horrendous.

Youtubers, or blog/ vlog

ie espouse their naiive, immature narrative garnered from months of life experience to other simpletons as if their individual experience of an event SHOULD be relevant, and DEMAND their particular narrative be listened to and taken into account

Hell, what my kids think of as bullying, would have been classed as a friendly greeting in my day.

I read the Guardian and the Mail (politically our household is split). Both were once serious newspapers. Neither paper in the past fully deserved its reputation. The Mail (except for a brief period decades ago when it admired Hitler ) is not a quasi-fascist organ and is or was in fact quite strong on social issues and calling out authority of all sorts for its abuse of power. It did more than any other part of the media to bring the murderers (or some of them at least) of Stephen Lawrence to justice by putting the gang's pictures and names over its front page under the headline "MURDERERS" and inviting them to sue. The Guardian was not really a paper for woolly minded bearded and sandal and socks wearing wierdos but contained consistently some of the best journalism in the UK. Now both are tabloid comics with the same trivial and celebrity obsessed content where if serious news  does appear it is not reported as news and separately commented on in an editorial or opinion piece but is reported with fully embedded bias and comment. For the Mail good economic news is evidence that Brexit is good and Project Fear a myth,  bad news (when not buried) as evidence that we need Brexit. The Guardian reports economic news with exactly the opposite bias and the opposite selectivity. If anything I think the Mail under its new editor after Dacre's departure is less politically biased in its reporting than the Guardian but (I guess to avoid upsetting the papers owners) at the expense of reporting less and less real news.

Far left is not a commy to me.  She is one of these prog lefties or as they like to call themselves 'liberal' which in old money was a great thing to be.  All labels though and everyone seems to have one nowadays.  People on the right simply are not so delicate as this snowflake.  It has all the traits of a 'progressive' this video.  Utterly nauseating.

I fear that when kids have ideas or thoughts now they can seek out others in a similar "phase" and have their ideas reinforced

My oldest son- every kid in his class is now depressed, whereas we used to merely be unhappy or upset.

When you were annoyed at girls for knocking you back you got over it, now you can find other people who justify your rage- so you don't get over it.

Nothing is a phase now, its all a condition

It concerns me- the internet is fuelling malcontent

I am pretty certain we all have different definitions for political labels.  I am probably far right to people on here.  I am certainly right wing, I say that with beaming pride.  But I also have many liberal (old school) leanings. However with each day in today's world I am moving farther and farther right.  There is an end of the line for me and a line I will not cross, which of course we all know what is past that line.  That simply is not for me.

Unfortunately, I broadly agree with this. It's almost like we've made an evolutionary leap in terms of communication while our mental and behavioural faculties have not had the chance to catch up. Instead of finding help for our disparate problems in heterogeneous social groups we find virtual echo chambers. The short-term comfort that this provides to an individual is overriden by the groupthink that often follows.

Our media-driven, celebrity centred form of mass consumer capitalism (intentionally) exacerbates this issue.

Or I could be talking shite.

I'm not sure, John. There should be no stigma attached to sexuality any more and if that helps someone to feel comfortable in their own skin without fear of persecution or ridicule then that's certainly progress. I do however feel that issues surrounding sexuality are being cynically manipulated from certain quarters in order to sell people a lifestyle. It's almost as if it's being deployed as a tool for strategically creating new consumer markets.

Read this thread in awe to be honest. These points I agree entirely with though (even if they’re off on a tangent to the thread itself).

The masses are being dumbed down on a daily basis, no more so is it evident than on this thread. I mean, this story is just utter utter bullshit, but it’s managed to garner a multiple thread on here ffs. If ever a story deserved a ‘meh’ reaction it’s this one, yet here we have allegedly clever folk clambering over themselves to dissect every little potential nuance. It’s embarrassing.

Anyway, my point was regarding what makes news these days and how it encourages banal bunfights, whilst ironically doing a disservice to genuine cases of misogyny/women’s safety etc at the same time.

Focus us on the things that matter folks, the amount of do gooders on here who’ve taken their eyes off the ball is staggering.

Anyway, that’s my tuppenceworth. I’m out ??

Probably, but I see it as kinda romantic or a nice innocent gesture.  Be that as it may and whatever way the guy intended it has certainly fed her desire for public attention.  She acts like the guy went up and whapped his member out and slapped it on her face - he never.  She has come across as a truly pathetic little millennial.

Contrary to redm's prior accusations of me having contempt for 'Women' (plural), I have contempt for this girl.  I do not throw  the other 4 billion women into this based on the fact they share the same genitals.
