Taz I'm not stupid and know whether they are Dutch or not..that was not the point it was about their youth system and I happen to think if they are with a club from 16 then they are part of it but that is only an opinion

Your right, was CP not signed at 16 for Hearts, like plenty if others.

Ajax youth policy is first class. Really hope they win the CL this season

How good is this referee.  Gets everything spot on with no drama. You would expect the best at this stage of the champions league but still...what I wouldn’t give to see this in our game every week.

For those interested the book Ajax,The Dutch, The War is a very good read.

Was thinking the same, he actually lets the game flow as well, he's a breath of fresh air this guy.

Bravo. Couldn't wait for the dig to happen.

I'm genuinely astounded it took until the 2nd half. Predictable and boring.

(just like hearts under levein amirite)

Taking ajax as an example how football should be played. Pass and move, Mr Levein are you watching how it's expertly done?

Commentator mentioned how Spurs were struggling now after injuries to their key players. Hmmm, guess Pochettino should have had a plan B for that. It should be easy to cover for injuries to your best players apparently.

We should also be making more use of our academies around the globe. Lazy.

List is endless, mate. We’re at least 50 years, an endless stream of world class players and a raft of European trophies  behind in our thinking.

Still, Levein gtf eh? ?

Can spurs go there and score twice?

Not so sure.

Wonder if it'll be barca or Liverpool that we're compared to tomorrow night.

Ajax haven't even been anywhere near their best tonight which is possibly worrying for spurs. They were far better v madrid and juve.

Barcelona or Liverpool are well ahead of these two sides

Spurs have injuries and if their players were fit they would have a chance but on tonights showing the winners are in the other tie

They have two systems. One works with Kane, one works with Son. Without either, they’re impotent.

Connor Smith and Harry Cochrane did that on Sunday. Are you watching?

It’s utterly laughable the level of footballing ignorance at times.

He doesn’t watch.

He usually waits until Hearts concede to pipe up.

Yes

A good side might have hurt Ajax second half. But they have found a way to win every time this season.

They will have learned from tonight.

But how do you think he'll get on against the BBC proclaimed best player in the world?

Probably the most idiotic post on here in 2019, well done. The only connection to Hearts to be drawn from that match was how poor Spurs looked missing a couple of key players. Anyone other than a complete imbecile would have recognised that!

It could be Messi...............but more likely 'messy' for Barcelona when Salah, Sane and Firmino get going

Oh and Messi is the worlds best but he will be up against the worlds best defender

Kane is badly missed by Spurs.

I actually think they miss Son more? Sometimes they defer to Kane too much. I’m not doubting Harry, by the way.

Barcelona last lost a Champions League match at Camp Nou on May 1st 2013, a 0-3 loss to Bayern Munich... tomorrow is 01.05.2019. Written in the stars?

Liverpool need to come away still in the tie tomorrow. Even a narrow defeat and I’d back them at home.

Unfortunately, I respond to this tool as well.  I promise myself that I won’t, then he pops up during a Hearts game with 100% negativity.

He’s hard to resist. *

*Not really.

He's dominated much better defenders in his time.

If Liverpool get an away goal then they can go through.
