Swiss to score early doors and it’s curtains for them. Not got two goals in that side.

Also fully expect hughes to play for us next week. If he doesn’t then it’s criminal.

Hughes starts at right back.

So, Hughes does play sometimes?

I'm aghast.

So what he's fit enough for his country but not his club?

So Hughes must be over his calf injury and should start v Partick

More chance of John Wayne starting I would think.

If Hearts were playing today he would be playing, if selected.

Rat Lichtsteiner at it again.

I'd never heard of him before the home leg but he jumps right near the top of players I dislike. Horrible cheating individual

Has he, anywhere, claimed that he wasn't fit to play for Hearts?

Or do you think he's lying to our medical experts at the club so he doesn't have to play?

Maybe he's now fit again and he'll feature against Partick.

Or maybe he is managing to fool the medical team at Hearts.

Or maybe he saw an opportunity to break Bobby Moore's record fit or not.

Dr. Sheldon Cooper

Do people still believe he is going out his way to avoid playing for Hearts so he can prolong his international career?

We aren't exactly blessed with a big squad at the moment. If he had been fit previously he'd have been playing for Hearts. It really is as simple as that.

So you think he managed to con two sets of medical staff about his fitness, to then play a full 90 minutes on a sodden and energy sapping pitch?

Really?

I agree.

As I said before, a WC without Italy seems wrong but that's about the only reason I want them to win.

Not a fan of Italian folk at all.

Is that a good Italian side? I don't follow Italian football.

They've got a 92 year old goalie, couple of decent defenders, no idea about most of the midfield but that Immobile's a good player.

Should be good enough but could be a lot better, probably the 4 most dangerous players they have going forward(Insigne, Bernardeschi, El Shaarawy and Belotti) are all on the bench. Ventura is clueless.

An absolute legend of a guy Buffon is. 175 caps and his club career is something else.

What a national anthem the Italians have too. I have no idea what the lyrics represent but it's a proper tune that gets everyone up for it.

Wish we had a 92 year old goalie that was as good as him

Ours is dated and needs to be changed. Isn't inspiring when you hear it played away from home. Not as dirge as GSTQ but still lacking.

This is true mate. I like the Mexican one when there's thousands of them belting it out at the game.
