Bookies are very wary of getting stung on these markets as some people will have inside knowledge. Fair chance no decision has been made yet despite this. Budge isn't silly enough to risk the wrath of a significant chunk of the support by appointing Elvis, never mind the fact that his record as a coach is nothing special. For what it's worth I know of 30-40 year fans who won't go back if he is appointed. I can't believe she would tolerate the antics and behaviour of Davies and also knowing that he would be off to Govan at the first opportunity. Hartley and Coyle have done nothing to merit the job. So the only other real name in the frame is McClaren, or maybe, probably he isn't. O'Neill was approached but he wanted to bring in his entire backroom team. Who have I missed?
