Jambof3tornado
Aye 2nd was awful results for NeilsonNo 2nd wasnt awful but the football was. Dont remember the club sacking robbie. Bad results like we've had since cathro came in would normally mean a change in manager.

RussAsia
Problem i have always had with the arrangements it gives Craig the best of both worlds. No problem with him continuing the great work with the academy but our new manager should have the importance McInnes has thrived on and has glued him to Aberdeen The thing is that Levein has been more hands on because we have taken on young managers.. However if we get the appointment right next time Levein can go back into the background and ensure that the club is in good health from top to bottom.. Leaving the new manager to take care of the first team only..
copa-mundial
Board meeting took place this morning.I may be completely wrong here but, Am I right in saying, that no announcements can be made on a sunday? If they have decided on sacking him, or Cathro himself resigning. I'm sure this was the case when the Jackie McNamara saga was on-going with Dundee United. They had to wait until the Monday before announcing. Again, I could be completely wrong. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Unknown user
Finally succumbed to the fact that it's just not goin to work for him, despite my sincere wishes that he'd stick it right up Kris Boyd/Willie Miller etc. So I've reluctantly voted leave. But ill refrain from slating the guy on a personal level. And McPhee too. From 'schoolboy' to 'kid' to 'hippy', it's nothing but classless. Cathro has to go...and we all have to rejoice as the likes of Boyd tell us that they told us so. Fantastic. Very much this

I don't think he wants the managers job because he wants to oversee the whole club.. I think he'd have little difficulty leaving managing the club to the managers if they were doing a good job.. He's been there to help out and offer advice to them.. Our next manager needs to be experienced and I'm sure Levein will leave him too it... Francis Albert
So if he has gone we are left with another bunch of his players and a manager who needs another window next summer to build his team. Broxburn Jambo
I really wanted him to succeed, but I think even for me the time has come for him to go. I do this for the same reasons when I disagreed with people talking about protests and boycotts, and even worse hoping the team got beat so he would be sacked. The experiment has failed, for the greater good for Heart of Midlothian. Go Now Please

He should never have survived this long. Should have been punted after the Patrick game, should definitely have been punted at the end of the season. Now we will have a month to find a new manager, agree a compensation fee with the managers club, sign more players all while paying off wee Cathy. Simply not going to happen. It'll be Levein, with Daly & Kirk or Levein with Austin.

Cruyff Turn
Levein wont be near our dugout. If that's the case it'll be MacPhee or Daly/Kirk because there is no way we have the time or resources to sack Cathy and bring in a senior manager. Mollo
The Robbie stuff still perplexes me. Yep it wasn't good footy at times. But in CONTEXT of being Hearts manager - he did fine. Some horse manure results couldn't be forgotten that I grant. But every one of our managers can be had up for the same. We seemed to want something outside our scope, we've ended up with Cathro. It's like swapping Champagne (okay cheap stuff!) for swamp water.
