Yep it was just pure coincidence “politics joe” stumbled across her with a mike right enough - but for gullible dullards who spend their day looking for stuff like this it’s nectar

What is not a coincidence is you and Tory HQ blaming the poor and those in the front line of seeing children go hungry.

Those at the bottom have been feeling the increase in their standards of living WAY before this new cost of living crisis.

You also conveniently forget that food banks ect have been the reality in this country well BEFORE the present and in coming energy increases and cost of living crisis.

Also leading children's poverty action  charities and groups, who work on the front line, (unlike you),  have well warned this government well BEFORE this present shitstorm.

Also if you think that by blaming the unemployed, those on genuine sickness benefits, the old ect is in some way a sign of intelligence then you are really one gullible Tory.

Those at the bottom have already suffered and felt the impact of a cost of living crisis and now have to face and even BIGGER increase.

Look closer to your smug Tory HQ spin doctors and the tenure of this present government in office and see the real impactors of this cost of living crisis, it was already happening to those at the bottom.

Yon dodgy PPE company that may or may not have links to Michelle Mone and won £203 million in PPE contracts without delivering anything useable has been issued with a winding up order after not paying any tax.

The company wasn't even legally formed until four days AFTER Mone lobbied for it to be given the contracts.
The company has no assets.
The money has simply disappeared.

Not at all. What’s more important is that we focus on issues such as “starving a kid to save a quid”. According to some on here.

Risible.

`Lovely Liz` (???)  knows she's about as popular in Scotland as BJ.  And he's about as popular as a dose of the Gary Glitters.  So she's chickening out of showing her face here.

So you agree that Westminster should continue to insult us? Get off your knees man! It doesn't matter who's in power down their. They're all fools and those who follow them even more foolish and stupid actually. By all means have a go at the SG or whomever but at least recognise that Westminster don't care about Scots or the other nations.

Why do they want yo keep us, because we're skint?

I’d suggest they don’t care about England either!

I can't understand why any self respecting Scot wishes to be governed by them. No sense whatsoever. England is a fine country but governed by a tragedy.

Tory MPs ‘plotting leadership vote before Christmas’ to bring back Boris Johnson

No confidence letters drafted before the new PM has even started

Saw that earlier.  It's really just down to these people thinking ahead to the next election.  Looking after their electability.  It doesn't seem to matter that the country would continue to be in never ending chaos.  Another period of months with a zombie government not making any decisions.  Or that a man would be reinstalled who did nothing for ordinary people and tore down all of the norms of standards,  conduct,  process and scrutiny.

Guy's an electoral asset because he has a hold over people based on a veneer of personality.  He'll win seats that would otherwise be lost.  That's all that matters.  **** the country and the little people.

This is where we are.

The Mongolian economy is probably in less of a shit state than the UK one so it's probably sound business for UK farmers/fishermen as no one here will have the money to buy such luxuries.

Oh thank the lord for that.

I'm so glad that the Tories are taking care of the really important stuff instead of worrying about small shit like freezing and starving.

Obviously the optics are awful but if one steps beyond the politics of envy it actually is a very smart way to raise money.

Financial Institution pays out a pound and remits 15% in Employers NI to the government. The employee then pays taxes and national insurance that amount to just under half in the case of higher rate tax payers. No collection issues (LLP's aside) as they are collected at source. You want stuff funded someone has to pay.

That's far too simplistic and staggeringly naïve.

The City of London has lost ground in financial services due to Brexit. Huge amounts of financial services business went to Europe and the USA where there are no issues stemming from 'taking back control'. Companies went to Frankfurt and back to New York.

The City of London apparently contributes around 75bn to the exchequer. How much extra do you think increasing bonuses to a very small number of individuals, who are undoubtedly very very well versed in how to minimise their exposure to any taxes they might pay, is actually going to raise?

Do you honestly think that will dig the UK out of the hole it's in? Really?

Banker's bonuses will be paid in the most tax efficient (evading) way - ie, there will be tiny amounts of tax and NI paid.

There is no clever way out of this it is going to take lots of little measures with everyone contributing to get things going in the right direction.

Wow, knew you guys were experts on everything but hadn't realised you had a lifetime of experience in this area too. Apart from fundamentally misunderstanding how the cap works, why it was implemented and quite how many people were impacted by it you're also all in on the myth that salaried employees can somehow evade taxes.

Of course they can, they can get their bonuses paid in shares etc.
