jack D and coke
Some MSP's behaved despicably yesterday and some of the comments on social media by Wings and other nutters were vile. There are some nasty nasty people in Scotland. What were they saying?
jambo lodge
What were they saying? Frankly I would not wish to give them any more publicity that they have already received. At least 3 MSP's tweeted and later retracted their idiot remarks. Some despicable comments from Scots suggesting it was a hoax, all planned to disrupt the Indyref vote, wishing Theresa was one of the dead etc etc. sadly all the tweets that I saw displayed the Scottish flag on them. reaths17
Has Nicola and |Swinney no been out and got that bridge finished yet? Wish they would concentrate on the day job! unfortunately their not, maybe if they had shown they were capable of running things, there would be more support for their ultimate goal. all they've did is show they are actually worse than Westminster. But even if the SNP are bad, that doesn't mean independence is. The two are seperate things. We could become independent and someone like Ruth Davidson ends up leading the country, heaven forbid! theres a lot said about the negativity from union supporters regarding Scotland, when the most negative thing in Scotland is how poorly the SNP have been. they've had many years now to show that they can run a country and have failed miserably, the country has become broken and pretty nasty in political debate. they say we will have freedom to choose what party runs things after separation, the SNP will win easily, they've built a decent cult following over the past 10 or so years, who don't give a damn about the economy. although stronger in Scotland than down south, labour has alienated supporters big time and the tories are just alien in Scotland. it's quite frightening how screwed the country could get if the SNP got an extended stay, finger on all the buttons, post separation. sturgeon comes across as a nasty, vindictive wee shit, their need to implement countrolling laws like the named persons act, just come across as a bit tyrannical. independence, doesn't look a pleasant option to me. Not built on the cheap. Very expensively built but poorly designed and project managed. The SNP aren't shy of reminding us of the PPP projects under the Labour Scottish Govt (that hasn't been in power for 10 years) but conveniently ignore their own significant and ongoing addition to the PPP/NPD debt mountain. Unlike the debt quoted in these threads, the PPP/NPD debt is owned to the likes of offshore banks. The majority of the National Debt is actually owned by the people of the UK through the likes of Pension or Investment funds.

jambo lodge
I'm not doubting what you say, but what are the metrics? How, as an example, is the Health service worse? Very simply , prior to the last referendum spending on the English NHS rose quicker each year than in Scotland. The Barnet consequential increases should have at least matched spending in England but didn't. Why? Because the SNP decided to spend the increase awarded by Westminster on their pet projects. These kind of decisions come back to bite you further down the line.
