Not as bad as the arses that say pen instead of penalty. Sure it's not a problem if it's written down as an abbreviation in a score summary (45" pen) but not spoken out loud.

Totally agree.

Or, ‘the boy's a baller’.

Not sport related, but people saying spag bol instead of spaghetti bolognese irritates me much more than it should!

I hate the term 'penned' as in 'penned a contract', 'penned a new deal', etc.

Irrational levels of rage.

Similarly, people commenting on what other folk are eating. Whatever it may be.  Leave it to the individual to eat what the Hell they like. Not a fan of pineapple on pizza myself, but I would never criticise another for doing so.

We always eat pizza with a knife and fork unless we have take-out, which we eat on the beach, with our hands.

Knife and fork all the way, unless it's a slice from a hot counter. The mark of the civilised gentleman.

Yep. Like mac'n'cheese. It was never called that here.

Spag Bol sounds like a disease you'd be embarrassed to see your doctor about.

This guy knows. ?

Always knife and fork for pizza unless eating outdoors.

Should always be Macaroni Cheese and not the American term for it.

Spag Bol is just ridiculous and a very poor attempt at trying to sound ‘out there’.

Sometimes they like a ‘cheeky wee Chardonnay’ with it.

Plus, they don’t drink it.  They ‘quaff’ it.

There’s actually a bar in Monaco called Wine o’clock.

We don’t frequent it.

Not too bad, but could be better.

Unseasonably warm in janvier, fevrier et mars but unseasonably cold (19/20 degrees) in avril et mai.

We will need to drink quickly this year.  Can you manage?

Work related Flying. Everything about it, EDI in general , security,  fellow passengers, long days etc etc.

Train travel is vastly superior to domestic flights in every way. If only they could do Kings Cross in sub 4 hours, I'd never fly to London again.

I agree completely. I think some people still think it makes them important if they fly to meetings. And unless you're flying to London City the door to door time isn't massively different.

In Service days.

Sure I'm being paid to sit in meetings today.....but it's the hardest days pay you'll ever earn.
