McDonald has maybe been a late and unexpected introduction (I know he played on the right but is left footed) but would Barker have just been an unneeded hurdle for them? The main issue with them though is they're no great shakes going forward but right now I'd take any solid, reliable defender at LB and both of them fit the bill. His touch is horrible , distribution torture and doesn't get forward enough for me. when he does get forward his instinct is that to come inside.
