redjambo Posted October 5, 2017 Share Posted October 5, 2017 Just to add to the mix, the names on the golden pennants haven't been erased completely, so it looks as if the hotel's name ends in something like "mann". The menu on the front indicates that it's a restaurant as well as a hotel, while the blue and white badge indicates that the building itself is protected heritage under the 1954 Hague Convention (which the UK only just completely signed up to this year!). Also, the fact that the Italian flag is next to the EU one in the centre of the grouping of 6 flags may indicate that this is in Italy.
