Well ladies & gentlemen, I have seen a lot of football played in my time on this planet, but this goes down as one of the most one-sided games I have ever witnessed.:rofl::rofl::4_1_111:

is that 6-6 after Fletchers 3 pointer from 6 yards with an open goal?

Bound to have impressed the watching Real scouts....

Despite the fact that the second half has been far less entertaining from a football/gratuitous goal scoring sort of perspective, Setanta have kindly insisted on keeping me amused by doing lots of close ups on players and Mixu instead.

My favourite expressions were those on the faces of the pair that went on at the last substitution...oh deary me. They're not enjoying this momentous occasion one little bit.

Another classic from the match thrad on wearedoomed.net

"Christ, I thought this was a friendly?

Harsh gits, Barcelona are. They can have the match they didn't have to take our dignity as well.

They still haven't gotten over us beating them way back when

How immature of them"

Barca B are a good side, but that was just embarrassing for Hibs. I dread to think what the score would have been if they'd had Ronaldinho, Deco and Dos Santos.

Barca would have been better asking Spartans to play them after we knocked them back this year:rolleyes:

For dealing with the doings they'll have to take next season...

So glad that I do not have to listen to him when watching Satan TV in the Pub.

Mixu should ask one of the Rock Steady guys for a job application form before he leaves Murrayfield.

He's gonna be looking for work soon.

Gutted.

I finished work at 9 and dashed home to catch the last half hour of the match and of course managed to miss all the goals.

Still Setanta tend to show about 18 repeats of games so I can enjoy the first 27 mins later on I hope!

Oh ho ho.

Just need to wait now for all the excuses from hobos now, they will claim for various spurious reasons that the Barca team of this evening were better than that of last season.

Did Mixu repeat his quote in the paper about learning nothing from winning friendlies against inferior teams 6 or 7 nil to Guardiola when they shook hands at the end of the match?

The 3 players he mentioned have all left. I think that his point was that they all played in Barca's 3-1 win over us.

That's why I said "how good would they have been with Ronaldinho (AC Milan), Deco (Chelsea) and Dos Santon (Tottenham)" They beat us 3-1 with a far better team.
