Dunks Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 Welcome to the Asylum The facility has been infiltrated. You must work with the Asylum administration and staff to find the undercover mafia hitman within the institution. You are aided by an FBI Special Agent, but rumour has it there are other undercover mafia members ready to take the hitman's place, so best find them too! This is an eclectic mix of staff and patients working together to find the baddies. But it's an Asylum, so anything can happen .... Roles: FBI Agent Investigates a player each day (they like their sleep), the outcome is shared with the Asylum and the player investigated is shared with the hospital attendants Hospital Attendants Work together offline for the benefit of the facility and receive the daily investigations Paranoid Doctor Can protect one player per night, but also blocks their role for a night/day cycle. Sheesh. Gullible Patient Works with the Asylum, but if targeted by the Hitman, will align with the mafia. Mafia Hitman Dictates night kills on behalf of the mafia, whom they communicate with offline. If the Hitman is taken out, the mafia can nominate a new Hitman after one cycle. Undercover Mafia Looking to take over the Asylum. Can communicate offline. Psychopath In it for themselves. Up to 3 kills available, 1 per full cycle and none on day 1. Win if they are the last rolled player, even if all kills are used. Psychiatrist Working for the Asylum to find and cure the Psychopath and bring them back to the light. Schizophrenic Targets a player every night where a random act will be committed. They may kill, protect, silence or role-block that player. Patients Remaining players are patients of the Asylum, but they work to find the Hitman as they don't want to be killed. The Asylum wins when there are no mafia left and the mafia win once they are unbeatable. After night is called, the FBI Agents investigation will be revealed. I'll then take and deal with nominations from the Doc, Psychiatrist, Schizophrenic, Hitman & Pschopath in that order. Please post votes and unvotes in bold and on a separate line e.g. vote Dunks and unvote Dunks If you don't your vote will not be counted. No editing of posts with votes allowed, if this is done voting privileges may be removed. You can bluff or lie about your role, but if you come out right and say you're character in game etc you will be mod killed A lynch will happen when there is enough votes for the same person or a deadline has been reached. If deadline is reached but not enough numbers have voted the same person, the person with the highest amount of votes at that time will be lynched. If it is a tie I will devise a way of picking the winner. Only players who have a team role are allowed to PM other players.. If you receive a PM from someone you are not supposed to (ahem!) please DON'T post it on the thread, report it to me first. If you have any questions about the general rules post them on the thread, if you have a question about your role/power PM me and I'll try my best to explain it. No PMs or chat in other threads or even in real life about the this unless you have a role which allows PMs to other players and then it can only be between the players you have been given by me. No speculation is permitted on the thread during the night period, just the usual sorry I've killed townie type stuff. I will punish players who misbehave at night. Dead people can post but if they say vote someone off or unsubtly hint for someone to be voted off, I will be round to kill them for real-just don't do it please. I have experienced it myself and know it is hard but it ruins the experience for other players Finally I will Mod kill non-posters and voters unless there is good excuse but will use my discretion. As far as my reading of it goes they don't necessarily 'choose' one - only if their night-whack is the appropriate one (Gullible patient ) do they get the turned player.
