Following all back in the squad:

Kent

Hoff

McKay

Fraser

The bench is going to be very strong. Few young lads will be dropping out.

great news. And Vargas should be fresh as he never played today. Having Kent back is pivotal to our chances and gives us a better chance.

2-0 Hearts.

Good news.  If only one is fit to start I hope it’s Kent, we need an end to last season’s shambolic defence as soon as possible.

Good news on the injury updates - hope Kent is starting - we have a rotten record against Killie at home

If we have a fit full strength team I think we will be too much for Killie!

This. An important game with a sellout crowd behind us. Should be a decent game and 3 points hopefully.

Absolutely no idea what to expect or how this game will go.

I do know we won’t score in the first half though.

Shankland needs a foil (swordsman pun intended) ...

... forget Tagawa ... or Oda ...

... by all means bring on Varga when the going gets tough ...

... but, for putting the likes of Killie to the sword, then we should've signed Brienne of Tarth ...

Assumimg he continues to stick with Clark I'd like to see

Clark

  Rowles   Kent   Kingsley

Lembikisa                                     Cochrane

Baningime   Hoff

Oda        Shankland     Vargas

Subs:

Gordon

Atkinson

Sibbick

Devlin

Tait

McKay

Grant

Forrest

Tagawa

Fraser and Denholm miss out.

That team, if we are at it, and individuals play to capabilities, should be way to good for anyone out with the top two, especially at Tynecastle.

Would like to think so and is it fair to say Killie can let themselves down every now and then  (Aberdeen in the Cup)

The team looks good and it's a stronger bench than we've had in a while.

I don't think we should drop Forrest though. I'd start him over Oda

That was probably the most difficult choice and I suspect you might be correct. Just felt Oda getting the goal and being back to fitness, for a home game, we need to be getting him a run in the side. It's also possible that Vargas might be on the bench after lengthy travel (though didn't play midweek) and it's Oda and Forrest who start.

Bench is way stronger than at any point this season.

They have only won 2 league games away from home this season

Yeah - they're rubbish away from home. There's nothing to fear here other than being scared for the sake of it. 2-0 to the JTs.

Just goes to show how much of an advantage they have over certain  teams on their own turf.

Need a win here,

Hopefully we can get it and put to bed any doubt over our 3rd place credentials.

Would go with

Clark

Dexter Kent Kingsley Cochrane

Neiwenhof Beni

Vargas Grant Forrest

Shanks

Lot of travelling for Dexter this week (and he scored a screamer) Atkinson the same to be fair though. Even Sibbick had plenty airmiles so that’s a position needing looked at for freshness.

I thought that also, but then thought he might rest the long haul travellers from the start.

its key that kent returns for this one imo. Hopefully see something like this

                        clark

   dexter - kent - Kingsley - cochrane

        nieuwenhof - baningime

                   grant/mckay

     Vargas - shankland - Forrest/oda

I agree about Oda and Forrest. Think Kenny will be on bench after his travels

I’m guessing that SN will want to rest them but will be tempted to play Rowles (and Kent?) to strengthen  our defence.

Tight game but feel a bit more confident with Kent and the hoff back, 3-1 hearts Vargas to score to celebrate his deal.

Not what I think the team will be, but what I'd personally like to see -

                       Gordon

Lembikisa    Kent   Rowles  Kingsley

                    Beni     Hof

     Oda         Shankland      Forrest

                        Vargas

Cant afford to lose this as a defeat in Paisley the following week would probably see the lead cut to 5pts.

Draw would do us and probably Killie in their race for 4th.

Great that Kent is fit.  He really makes a difference to our defence.  Also good that Hoff is available.  He's fast becoming a key man in our midfield.

It's a mini 'slly season', for sure.

Seriously?: play to our strengths and we'll win 2-1, or 3-1.

Cynically?: Hearts 0-2 Var & officials - regardless of the final score.

I can't see it being a high scoring game whatever the result

This one is in our favour, they need to win, we dont, folk may not like it, sensible thing in this game is to be really patient, dominate the ball at some point they will have to try and win it, that may not be until the final 15, however table as it is, suits us if they sit in.

We responded to the last defeat very well. So expect a good performance to right the wrongs of the last game.

Big statement and opportunity to show who we are.

Only a four hour flight max for Toby and virtually no time change.  He should be fine.

Indoor bowling rinks aren’t plastic but would probably be a lot better for playing football on than their pitch.

They’ll no doubt have 9 back defending then pressing us on the break. We need to use the long ball tactic. It’s worked to our advantage this season. Once we get a goal we will be in command.(hopefully)

Really hoping to see frankie and Hoff start. Mckay off the bench around the 60 minute mark to remind us just how good he is. 3 1 hearts. Lawrence, hoff and mckay.

Possible Naisy select:

          Clark

Kingsley Kent Rowles

Dexter Hof Beni Cochrane

Vargas Shankland Forrest

We don't need to go all out attack early.   Two teams near on points but one side ahead of the other.

My pick:

  Clark

Atkinson Kent Kingsley Rowles

                 Hof Beni

         Oda Grant Forrest

              Shankland

Solid back four and Counter with Natty getting forward more

2-2 :rolleyes4:
