Three points please Hearts.

Couldn't give a toss about County getting closer to Aberdeen by beating us, to paraphrase their owner. I want them, County, to keep taking their medicine.

Nice position to be in.

Hearts always first of course but i genuinely do not care if we drop points here. Third is done and it would seriously make Aberdeen require new pants which would be pleasing.

That said, 0-2 to Hearts.

If I was able to choose who goes down it would be Aberdeen. It would remove a rival for Europe next season, massively impact them financially and see an exodus of their better players.

Though we almost never get beat, games are usually tight enough, 1-0 the last time up there, easily be the case again. Interesting wee oddity, last time we played them we came off an injury time high against Hibs and looked tired, this time the reverse?

I cant see past a Hearts win though, looking strong again.

Although our position in the league is safe it will be good to keep winning and racking up points as it breeds confidence. The game im Greenock on Monday night proved it doesn't have to be great on the eye, just as long as victory is the outcome. Another 1-0 win up in Dingwall will do fine, it makes the long journey home disappear so much quicker.

Appreciate folks really hate Aberdeen but can’t get my head round ever being happy to see us lose a game.

2 Nil to the JT's....   Devlin with a 20 yard piledriver and Dhanda with an OG in the last minute  🙂

Well we will have to play better than we did against Morton to come away with the three points I am not totally confident really but we hammered Celtic after being poor against Rangers.

Agreed, plenty more opportunities for Ross County to catch Aberdeen, they play each other in the next round of fixtures for starters.

Relegation battle has nothing do with us, want us to regain momentum right through to the end.

However if we did lose, some small solace.

Gordon plays in cup games

Clark plays in league games.

I can't see that changing.

Might for the final. If we are winning though bringing on the other for last five mins would be a nice gesture a la Robbo in 1998 SC final.

Hoping our extra couple of days rest makes the difference in last 20 mins. May need patience.

Murray could torment somebody though if we are not at it.

We will need to defend

crossballs well.

Shankland will want a goal after Mondays blank.

Dhanda tho...😯

Big game for Shankland. Incentive with being in the Scotland squad and Clarke saying Dykes and Adams are in front of him.

30 goals for season too.

Clarks done nothing wrong to loose his place in the league games.

A player doesn’t have to do something wrong to lose his place.  Gordon is the better keeper and should be playing.

Goalkeeping positions are different from others. A goalkeeper keeping clean sheets, saving pens and generally being solid can’t really be dropped.

Except amid all the excitement in the 1998 final JJ forgot to bring Robbo on 😞

He didn't. From memory he was stripped and ready to come on but that b*st*rd McCoist scored and it was backs to the wall time, which was not what Robbo was best at.

Anyone who has played team sports would know that if you drop a player from the team who has done nothing wrong, playing well and the team are winning would be suicidal for the coach. A sure fast way to loose the dressing room by treating players like that and results would plummet.

Yet again, more travel disruption.

As for the warnings? Have we ever caused an issue at Dingwall?

Unlike both h1b5 fans and their players mid-week*

* reports of the h1b5 players trashing the away changing rooms.

What's the travel disruption?

I thought that was disrespectful to us actually. Rangers sent chris woods up for a penalty when they were 7 up in a euro tie which pissed me anaw and I vetoed a team I coached doing that in a game for that reason.

I think Naisy's got it bang on so far. Despite some nonsense Zander has been as good as we can ever be entitled to expect of any keeper other than CG1 and dropping him would be horribly unfair but I think by the time of the semis we need to decide who is in possession one way or another. Craig has been immaculate in all 3 games. Impeccable concentration and brilliant saves.  I would now test him in an away game against top 6 opposition and then make the call. Up to Naisy of course.

One goal win will do, keep on the run.

Even if we don't play well just win.

The players are more likely to lose trust in the manager if he doesn’t play his best players.  We have also been winning games when Gordon has played.  Gordon has also saved a few shots which Clark would have got nowhere near.  Anybody who has played team sports would know that you play your best players.

Odd. There was a paragraph earlier telling of restrictions Kessock Bridge / Tore Roundabout advising of delays and saying to allow extra time.

Agree that we have struggled in Dingwall on occasion over the years but think we are now a different beast under Naismith.

Having watched their game midweek they do look especially poor though.

This should (and I believe will) be a routine straightforward victory. Anything other than that will be particularly disappointing.

2-0 with Shankland getting back on the goal trail.

Weirdly, I can remember us losing there only once - so it must be one of our most successful hunting grounds. But agree with you it's usually a tough game.
