Looking at the team why the f### is C. Smith and Pollock not playing before the break. I'm sick to death with Neilson holding these talents back.

If we lose, some people will no doubt put it down to Devlin/Atkinson  not playing

To be honest this kind of game is won in the midfield. I just don’t agree with dropping our best midfielder

Frustrating to see Devlin benched. If we don’t win, I think fans can rightly question that decision. Hopefully not a discussion point come full time.

Surely this can’t be right, Flash Scores has Rowles in midfield 🤔

BBC website the same nonsense but who's copying whom I don't know.

Hope kio is up for this, it’ll be a war zone in there. I really hope the game doesn’t pass him by

He's prone to the stupid niggly foul. He's just as likely to get a red.

Devlin has clearly had 1 eye on world Cup last couple of games. Nowhere near his usual levels. This is a good call, I hope🤞

Probably our strongest team with form, injuries and suspension taken into account, Mackay being the exception, he needs a rest. Forest should be on instead

Devlin was brilliant v Motherwell. And he got the call up after that game so your point doesn't really hold up.

Protecting the Aussie’s WC dreams (except Rowles who needs minutes), no problems with that. I imagine we’ll see both at some point.

433 Halliday in midfield with snoddy and rowles at the back

Thought he was bang average tbh. He plays at such a high level of intensity ie. Celtic game, it's quite obvious when he's not 100%. Wednesday was perhaps his poorest performance in maroon

Good team selection that’s the best available XI imo while looking to rotate Cammy

I’m a wee bit disappointed that McKay is starting.  That aside, it’s not a bad team at all, certainly enough to win comfortably.

I’m going 2-0 Hearts.

Halliday out. Devlin in.

Phew, although Halliday big miss as he’s been a major contributor to recent Ws

Time for Snoddy to step up and get his goal

I thought Devlin had been carrying a bit of a knock.  If I'm right, Neilson has made a good call.

He’s now starting.

Phew. Nothing against Andy but that’s far less impactful for both us and for him.

Been playing through a niggle for weeks, in fairness to him.

He’s been terrific this season no doubt, huge heart.

IF he is fully fit then it’s a big risk. Holt and Omeonga are pit bulls. They’ll have the legs over Kio and Halliday. Let’s hope our front 3 do the business and it doesn’t become a scrap.

Jason Holt? A pit bull?
