And yes we are in Europe, Regardless of which 11 he plays, most weeks I think it's pretty dire, And no I don't hate the guy I just think he has been Manager for to long, we need fresh ideas Corners and free kicks Kingsley aside, they are dreadful. I don't want an argument about it it's just my opinion, or maybe I'm just getting to old!! The league is pretty rubbish and with our budget 3rd should be expected, And really it's not about today just, for me he wouldn't have survived Brora, But I realise he has a 3 year contract so will just have to get on with it. What isn't, is that he has the experience to get us 3rd again and has done so both times and hasn't finished below 3rd as Hearts manager. If he fails in that task this season, then perhaps there will be a discussion to be had around if he is the one to take us forward, however, I'm confident he will finish 3rd, Rangers or Celtic will win the Scottish cup, and we'll be guaranteed European football. Whats more, apparently the European prize money isn't issued to the end of the season, therefore, we've not seen Neilson with money to spend yet and right now, we have a best of the rest quality team. Gordon is the best goalkeeper, Smith the best RB, Kingsley the best LB, Halkett and Rowles are a great pairing and once fit, our results will improve. Devlin and Kio are looking like a good pairing in midfield. McKay is in the Scotland squad, Forrest is scoring goals, Shankland is looking a good addition and Humphreys is showing some quality, especially today despite the result. I would like our attacks to be better drilled, we look a bit hesitant and seem to make the wrong decisions. I don't think enough of our forward players take responsibility and show enough leadership. We could really do with someone like Naisy or Stevo in our attack. We have Snodgrass, so hopefully he can pick up the slack on that front. Robbie will finish 3rd and achieve our aims this season. It's no surprise the usual suspects are giving you grief. Smith's right boot, or whatever he calls himself now, was guaranteed to throw his tuppence worth in and right enough, second post after yours! Robbie can do no wrong in his eyes! I think Robbie's tactically limited. A better manager would have us doing better than we are now. I wish we'd went for Steve Clarke when he was at killie.
