No CPD then.  At least we still have the rest of the alphabet, I guess.

Humza - includes transwomen in the misogyny bill because men cannot tell the difference between trans women and women .

Sorry, not buying that

No offence to them, but nobody is mistaking transwomen for women.

Won't spend an inordinate amount of time looking at the cass review is wild.

I mean if you can't learn from the dangers of allowing the mutilation of children by the state for factless pandering to the mentally ill you're a fekin idiot .

Never mind a misogyny bill to protect women being undermined by men dressed as women.

On a selfish note get this clown as far away to fek from the independence movement.

"Cis"

That collection of letters alone (can't call it a word really) just serves to underline how much nonsence this all is. The SNP need to back away and take the Cass report seriously.

Has anyone heard in real life or has anyone used the term "ciswoman"?

Origin of the trans flag

Designed by Monica Helms, a cross dressing fetishist who wore his mums pants to get aroused.

Baby pink and baby blue picked to represent young boys and young girls.

We all supposed to march behind that flag ?

Eh, naw.

Baroness Kennedy’s report clearly recommended that the proposed offences in a misogyny bill should apply where the victims are ‘women or those who perpetrators perceive to be women’ this aligns with existing legislation protecting people from abuse that is motivated by prejudice.

The thread is just pure gaslighting dangerous nonsense from him.

It is all designed to avoid any possibility of being able to separate women from trans women.

He seems utterly hell bent on totally amalgamating the two in all legislation put forwards.

Its clearly deliberate, and he is removing female as a sex class entirely.

Using the law to remove woman and female as a "thing".

Machinery of the state eroding sex based rights.

NO wonder the feminists are boiling with rage.

All that suffrage , merely to have it all undone.

Its really odd. Trying to reshape an entire society and culture to suit lobby groups is really weird.

Its like the flag waving by the NHS- "all welcome here"

They always were.

the sign that says we treat all people equally is the one that says "NHS"

no need for any others.

its encoded into the organisation.

we treat every single person equally- white, BAME, gay, sex offenders, fetishists,  we are not allowed to deny anyone care.. so why do we need the flags? Its odd

Attention seeking identity politics for people who can’t handle the fact that they may have to go through life being based on their actions, rather than their labels.

I don’t care where you like to put your bits, nor what bits you may have or desire to have. And I’d kindly ask people not to be overly bothered about me and mine. And don’t expect me to treat you any differently just because you have a different predilection.

To indoctrinate . To try and convince people to subscribe to an ideology they do not wish to and have every legal right not to either , if they so wish . As I’ve said time and again it’s the compelled aspect of the this issue which angers me . People can believe whatever they wish but don’t demand that I believe it too . Also don’t be part of a movement whose aim is to eradicate women’s rights and erase gay and lesbian identity . Why would I ever support this ?

WTF are puberty blockers? Surely puberty is a natural and important part of the life cycle?

Been around for decades they are mainly used for precocious puberty ,kids who pubirty comes on too early as early onset can be dangerous .

Also used on kids with short stature to help increase long bones and increase height .

It's also used on adults for some cancers and some other conditions .

Like all medicines it can have side effects .

But it's not noticeably seen as dangerous for above .

More recently they were still are used(dependent on where you are in the world ) for youths with gender issues to give a space of time to decide on what there gender is ,this is where the dispute is ,as evidence of how effective it is for such is seen as week ,with some claims the sideffects could cause harm .

So sensible approach is to pause until more is known I guess .

My daughter suffered badly from asthma as a teenager. She was put on steroids, this extended her natural puberty by 12 months.

Basically she started her monthly cycle, 12 months later than her female friends at school.

Insanity.

Do they have pills that keep your hair translucent until you decide what colour it is?

there is also no evidence that puberty blockers improve either mental health, or gender dysphoria.

there is evidence that  commencing them "locks in" the transition.

kids who get them almost all go on to cross sex hormones.

those who dont almost all revert to their natural sex.

there is definite evidence that puberty blockers are harmful and those harms are not reversible.

all of this evidence has been around for years, it was exposed by Hannah Barnes and Helen Joyce et al.

they were decried as transphobes and utterly ignored by GIDS

as were the whistleblowers in the Tavistock.

it all echoes the bradford grooming scandal where people were afraid to raise their heads for fear of the "bigot" smear- careers burned and livelihoods ruined.

never sure what this all has to do with humans too young to realise that santa is not real, nor is the easter bunny.

yet we are surprised adults tell them they can change sex and they believe it?

I am sceptical because I live the mantra, don't believe all you read, and only believe half of what you see.

However a contradiction I personally see is this.

They say the human brain is not fully matured until age 25, this is used as a reason/excuse not to goal someone.

So how the hell can primary pupils decide they are homosexual, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender or heaven forbid hetrosexual.

I really believe we are treading on very dangerous ground here if there is an ounce of truth in this report/story.

Why can't we just let children be children nowadays?

Well quite .

it has gone past “ be nice to everyone” which as a general message is good, right?

To pushing kids away from normative behaviour as if it’s somehow dull.

Asking questions they don’t understand .

Kids don’t understand the consequences of their actions - hence why they have to live with an adult until they are 16.

Changing sex and never having kids is not a biggie aged 12.

They need left alone to grow up without adult interference, and that is not happening .
