Tax cuts a certainty.

Good hopefully cuts to the NI that was increased as we know the Scottish Government won't pass on any cuts to income tax

At a time where the cost of living is crippling the country, we have this embarrassment of a man, as PM. He needs to go for the sake of everyone, Tory Labour, SNP or whichever colour of party you donor don't vote for.

Probably your best ever post on here.

To be fair, it is a weak field.

I'd pay more tax. NI was brought in to pay back the fraud.

Who'd you go for and who do think will take it.

I think Boris will call an election. The Tories could do worse than Wallace or Mercer. Truss or Gove would be absolute disaster.

Why would you want to pay more tax?

They will go for Jeremy Hunt or possibly Zahawi, the less ‘hardline’ types. I think the tories are done for a while off the back of Boris.

There is no way they double down on this nonsense. They will try to reposition themselves more central and more ‘caring’ who have cleaned up after bojo.

Im amazed he’s still in position. He reaches new levels of low, that seemed impossible a few years ago. It’s genuinely beyond me.  That said I can’t believe the tories haven’t managed to force him go, they must have something on him.

He is just copying Trump. Nothing applies to him. I can actually see him ignoring it and handing out goodies to everyone. People of all walks of life can be bought, quite easily.

I guessed it would be Rishi who announced it, but I can't see where and when he did this? AFAIK, CT is going up by 25% next year, so any links to where and when this was announced would be appreciated. TIA

My hunch will be Raab will end up getting it. He's useless but he isn't a charlatan like the buffoon currently in No10.

I can see Boris becoming leader of some Ukip/Brexit/ENP combination. And winning. 🤣

He did that already.

The Tories took on all of UKIP/BNP's policies and won the last election.

I think you will find whoever comes in will come in from the moderate side.  Not sure who that will be but its clear that this government is heading for a wipeout at the GE.

If they continue then its a certain collapse.  Looks to me like the backbenchers in marginals are getting twitchy arses.

Why bring Scotland into it? Plenty shite to throw at our government but I see no relevance to this thread.

He can call an election as PM and lead the party. And if he wins, what then?

He’s gone. History proves that when the tories turn on their leader it’s vicious. And that’s where he’s at.

Gove is now calling the shots. Why he wields so much power, is beyond me.

There's an oven ready resignation letter on his desk, with a team handed mob waiting for him to sign. :waiting:
