It does seem mad that Rangers are going to lose one of their best players for so little. Though with the contract having a release fee of £10m (would imagine Southampton's add ons go up to £10m, while Rangers are wanting £10m outwith the add-ons) there is little they can do. Should be a good move for him considering he has already been in Netherlands before with NAC Breda. Would have loved him to be at Hearts but he should do well there. Reality is if he was currently verygood he wouldn't be heading anywhere near Tannadice for a second season.
