Would prefer we started with Simms/Ginnelly, there will not be a lot of time on the ball early in the game and we can go over the top or long to those two when needed. If we can just keep it tight the first half hour,  but we also must carry a threat. R2/H3.

Morning everyone. Couldn't sleep last night. Luckily no nerves, I'm quite relaxed this morning. Will have breakfast shortly before making our way to Gorgie. Then on to Hampden for a maroon Saturday HHGH.

Been up for a good 2hrs plus, and getting quite excited now. Another hour and I'll wake the kids up, then it's bus, train, pizza and peroni in weej central, then onto Hampden and hopefully see us win the Cup 90 mins later.

I’d change Halliday for Devlin, but that aside, that is the team for me.

Ginnelly’s pace is a must for this game, particularly after their match on Wednesday, we need to try and stretch them.
