What makes the comeback even better is that the other guy didn't collapse when brought back to 2-2.  He still gave Murray a lot to do.  Murray keeping his never-say-die level up when the guy had recovered himself is quite impressive.

Good luck trying to nash around in the next match Muzza.

I wouldn't put it past him if he ever did become mobility diverse.

Who's next up?

Bautista Agut. Same guy he played and lost to in 2019 after he said he might have to retire. Would be a great, full circle story if he won that as well

Well, even just playing it without doing damage.

He'd end up needing metal wrists, such is the way he punishes his body on court.

The cardiovascular performance of these guys is superhuman.  Top tennis bods must be among the fittest sportsmen.

What a guy! Plays for 4 3/4 hours finishing after 4am. Not to mention with a metal hip.

Go Andy!

Short changing him a little there, it was a 5 3/4 hour match.

The interviewer on court said to him that it was his longest ever match on tour

Mins unbelievable.

Five more matches 'til he picks up the trophy. That's 25 more hours at least.

Yeah, but RB-A's sore bits are simply flesh and bone.

Murray's are TIE-TAY-NEE-UM!!!

I knew one cheeky sod would be in about that.

Anyway, let's talk more about that Ana Ivanovic, Sharapova, Hantuchova, Kournikova exhibition match you were trying to arrange...

Amazon Prime said they weren't happy to broadcast it with the script that I'd pitched to them.

I'd be surprised if Murray recovers well enough for the next match.  He's been on court for 5 hours 47 minutes longer than RBA and he finished at 4 in the morning.  He would then have to see his physio and do ice baths and get something to eat before going to bed.  I'm not sure when RBA finished but he was probably asleep while Murray was still playing.

Murray's match yesterday was brilliant, first of the tournament I've had the chance to watch, hopefully the entertainment continues.

Just catching up now. Ostapenko steamrolled her opponent which i didn't see coming - she is so hot and cold at the min. Called Fucsovics giving Sinner a game though. Happy to see Rybakina through also.

Medvedev should dispose of Korda later and Sakkari will prevail but i can see her dropping a set.

Medvedev's gone off the boil a little and Korda's game has been coming together having shown a lot of promise throughout last year. Pumpded Norrie oot of this tourney last year in round 1.

I'm surprised that it looks like it's heading to a straight sets defeat for Medvedev but suspect that Korda's one we'll see a fair amount of over the coming seasons.

Is the fist pump the only celebration?

I would quite like to see them skidding along the court on their knees :greggy:

Nearly 11 hours playing time in 4 days.

That is some going.

7 football matches.

Hope there are no managers complaining this week about their tough schedule.

3 games. Still only won 1 point. This could be short.

He looks like he's hurting still. Feel you could be right, but there's always a danger in writing him off, as we found out...
