Conceding three at Tynecastle is not acceptable.

What does that even mean?

Do we shoot the players?

Imagine winning a game 5-3 and your first thought is that!

The 3 Ayr goals were all pants defending. They were never in the game.

Hearts were impressive after Wighton came on. He needs to start next game.

Tom Hardy’s Dug

Think the experiments with Frear and Roberts needs to end.

Im concerned that Henderson and Moore will be loaned out in January when it should be those two jokers we should be looking to move on.

If we need to try things because of injury and need pace we should be turning to our youth players - Henderson is the fastest over 60m at the club and hasn’t been give a chance when we had no pace in the team.

I'm afraid Frear and Roberts are Neilsons vanity project, he's brought them to the club so has to justify them by giving them a game, neither of them should be anywhere near a Hearts jersey

Why Bawz ?

Who cares. It's of no relevance to us.

Would have been 5 clear with a game in hand.

Won't matter over the piece tho, as you say.

Their second goal was a class finish, not really a defensive error.

The 3rd, keystone bloody cops!

Wighton MOM - scored 2, made 1.

All roads lead to Gorgie

We need to sort this defense as we are very sloppy in that department. Well done the goal scorers you did the business today, can't ask more than that.

Roberts offers something.

Frear is pretty poor. Said a while ago I prefer White over him atm on the left, he offers little. Berra offered more.....

Fair enogh. But a 2 goal win against Ayr at home is barely pass marks.

Not for a Victor Meldrew like you it's not. Considering what this team went through last Sunday, then 5-3 will do me nicely. Top of the league and the GD improving too.

Have we scored 6 then 3 then 5 in our last three games? Felt like it took us half a year to do that last season. Well done Robbie and we’ll done Craig Wighton as well.

Tom Hardy’s Dug

Anyway applying context that’s two 6s and one 5 so far in the league - that’s a bit better than last time in this league although we were unbeaten at this stage...

(and 3 against Celtic)

Surely those two jokers have played their last game for Hearts, abysmal signings.

Was a decent performancefor the most part but we still concede too many goals.

We do but our defence will get us through this league.  It’s actually emotional and exciting watching hearts again.

of course an idiot like you will come out with this...

The issue is that we are letting in 3 goals to a poor Ayr side. It’s a very poor defensive performance. Another game and we repeat that, let in 3, and we wont win because we won’t score 5 every game

Which is why I imagine White has been playing more than Frear and doing more than enough to stay in the team.

Dreadful weather. Potential cup hangover. 2-1 down.

I'll take any win today TBH. Sloppy at the back 3 times and were punished three times. (Although I think there was a foul in the build up to their 2nd)

Wighton and Boyce on 7 each for the season

Halliday improving every week

Taking the positives. Next!

Unless we do it under Stendel. Then it's genius

TBF Stendel never lost three goals to a side like Ayr 😂

Exactly. Everyone could’ve been down in the dumps after last week but they rattled in 5 goals.

No we sometimes score 6. Cheer up. It's Xmas, we're three points clear at the top of the league.

****ing crazy some of it. Fair enough criticism of the defence but well OTT from a few. That could’ve been a banana skin today.

Ok three points and a win is a win. I am a big supporter of Robbie but he needs to answer some serious questions.

First off why do we give these teams so much respect?

Why do we play one up front against these teams?

Why do we tippy tappy around the back with no forward movement?

Why does it take going behind for these players to up their game?

I don't give a sook about a tough game last week, they are professional athletes and should try doing a shift down a pit to see what hard work means.

You find the pit for them to go down.

I said at the start both Roberts and Frear would get hooked. They are nowhere near good enough. Neilson must now realise this.
Defensively nowhere near good enough also.
Against any SPL team we lose today

Good post. Halliday could be doing with taking more of his chances but a big improvement from him.
