Mikey1874 Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 These were red cards a few years ago. Sow v Hibs in 2014 for example. But consistently yellow cards now right or wrong. Kyle Lafferty for example. Quote

Refs and their VAR assistants show absolutely no consistency. This allowing offences because it is early in game is nonsense. If it's a red card incident, it's a red card regardless of it happening 6 seconds after start of game or any other time. Ref happy to book Pulisic for winning ball in tackle though. Quote
Taffin Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Another day, another calamitous performance by the officials looks on the cards. Liverpool's pressure on Tierney paying off... Quote
Portable Badger Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Stunning from Salah !!!! What a superb finish Quote
Malinga the Swinga Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Chelsea defending Salah like they haven't seen him play. Let him run through untouched and keeper dived out of way. Wonder how long Tuchel will get before being punted? Quote

You clearly hate LFC more than Hibs or the OF. It's pretty funny tbh. Quote

Both goals calamitous defending, whereas when Arnold gave it away to Chelsea with equally horrific defending, Chelsea guy missed it. Quote

You don't think Liverpool's battle with Tierney had anything to do with him being changed? Don't hate Liverpool or any of those teams, it's just football. Liverpool are very like the OF though. Quote

Good strike though from Chelski though. Quote

Correct, he was changed because he seemed to be the only person in the world who thought Harry Kane did not deserve a straight red for his tackle on Robertson. He also had another couple of dubious decisions both going against liverpool in that match. He did however get the Roberson sending off correct. Quote
Mikey1874 Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 VAR check but not for the original soft free kick. Quote

Tazio Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 If there’s not a red in this match I’ll be amazed. Both sides totally psyched up and going at each other. Quote

Great to watch for once 👍👍 Shite defending does make for entertaining matches. Chelsea's first was good, but others were results of pish defending. If Souttar or Halkett defended like Chelsea guy did at first goal, we would have gone mental. Second one Chelsea watched Salah run through and Liverpool's defending at equaliser was just as bad. Quote
John Findlay Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Stunning goal from Kovacic. Both defences posted missing alot. Full backs nowadays haven't a scooby how to defend. All fine and well to be able to overlap, but to me if you are a defender then your primary purpose is to defend. It will be a case of which defence makes the least mistakes in the second half. Quote
