It's certainly true that if footballers took badly ill it would be a shame. Though most fit and healthy U35s with Covid don't suffer anything current. But the key element in all this is close contacts. Avoiding spending 15 minutes close together. Backed by testing. A death from Covid wouldn't stop football. A whole squad being infected would.
